Dahan-dahan kong minulat ang aking mga mata. I feel strange. It's like I've been woken up from a strange dream... but oh well, thank God I feel so much better now. Ayoko ng mangyari pa ang nangyari kagabi. Buti na lang at pinuntahan ako ni Darren. I don't know what's gonna happen sakin if hindi niya ako dinalaw. Gosh. Speaking of Darren... Iginala ko ang aking paningin sa aking kwarto lara hanapin siya. I found him sleeping at the couch.

I stood up and went near him. Malalim ang tulog niya. Naguilty naman ako. Siguro sobrang pagod talaga siya... Pagkagaling sa trabaho, inalagaan niya pa ako, baka halos hindi 'to nakatulog...

Kinuha ko ang blanket ko at ikinumot yon sa kanya. Bahagya siyang gumalaw pero mukhang malalim pa rin ang tulog.

"Babawi ako sa'yo." Nakangiti kong bulong sa kaniya.

Pumunta ako sa kitchen at nicheck kung anong pwedeng lutuin para sa breakfast. My shoulder fell ng sumalubong ang halos walang laman kong ref. May mga chocolates at milk pero parang hindi naman enough na pambawi yun, 'di ba? May leftover na pizza at lasagna.

Sa inis ko, tinawagan ko si Danica.

"Hello, Ylona! Okay ka lang ba? May nangyari ba?!" Nagpapanic na tanong niya. I even heard glasses fell.

"Danzky! Relax, okay? I'm fine na. Darren took care of me."

"Oh." Tanging nasabi niya. "Bakit ka napatawag? I already cancelled all of your appointments for today and the next two days."

"I just wanna ask kung bakit halos walang laman ang ref?"

"Oh, shoot! Sorry! I forgot! Masyado kasing maraming inasikaso this past few days, eh. Also, nilalakad ko pa sa mga boss ang hinihingi mong tatlong linggong bakasyon."

Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya. I feel excited at the same time!

"Really?" Di makapaniwalang tanong ko.

"Really what?"

"The vacation thing... I'm just kidding when I told you about that..."

She tsked. "Of course I know you really want to have a vacation, and even if you don't tell me, I know you really need it."

"Thanks..." Gosh! God knows how much I missed my family!

"But don't get your hopes up yet, okay? Alam mo namang paborito ka ng mga bosses. I'm sure they don't want to miss you." She said, teasing me. Though what she said is kinda true judging by how many times they check on me and the times they refused to give me a break. I hate them sometimes.

"I know." I replied and ended the call afterwards.

Napairap na lang ako sa kawalan. Sa mundong ginagalawan ko ngayon, there's no room for expectations and hopes. That's a bad thing, I know but that's the only way to avoid being hurt... Of course I wouldn't decide to be like this kung hindi ko pa naranasan ang feeling ng mga yun. I've been rejected... got my hopes up that went to nothing... many times that I've lost count... And then I decided to stop feeling that way... and I found it much better. I'd rather be called a coward than deal with that kind of pain again.

"Ylona?" Darren's voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

I turned on my back to face him. Even with his messy hair and sleepy eyes, he still look handsome... and his carefree vibes is really contagious. I'm aware of the girls drooling over him. Be it the fans or his co-artists. Feeling ko tuloy ang ganda ko! Sometimes, I just can't still believe it... the guy like him, is serving me like he always do... treating me like a princess... taking care of me... and loving me with every beat of his heart. It was so overwhelming that it was hard to handle sometimes.
