Day 60
Its my two month anniversary of being in the void. We're going to celebrate with a feast.
12:00 AM
I began the party with a toast, to the memory of my past life and family. Then I prepared spaghetti and meatballs. Along with a side dish of caesar salad, it felt like a feast befit of a king, an astronaut king.
9:00 PM
I watched my DVD set of Friends. It was a little too funny.
Day 61
I woke up with a hangover. That's it. Not a good idea.
Day 63
The sprouts finally grew up. I harvested them and put them into the fridge, maybe later.
5:00 PM
The radio played a lot of 60's hits. It started with I Had Too Much to Dream, then My Girl.
Day 65
We have entered the Andromeda Galaxy. It's quite beautiful. Dave was pretty excited.
7:00 PM
I have reached a new planet. I marked it down on my chart of the Andromeda Galaxy. I named it George, after my firstborn.
Day 70
I have gotten to another planet in the Andromeda Galaxy. I named it Anna, after the youngest of my children. The memories flood back. The swingset, the barking on a sunny day. I pushed her on the swing and she giggled and screamed, " Higher Daddy! Higher!".
Day 71
I cried myself to sleep last night. The memories were so vivid, I could even feel Anna's back squirming at my touch.
