So I've been thinking about this for a while. I've watched videos, I've read articles. And now I'm here to share my opinion about the relationship between the King and Queen of Gotham. The Bonnie and Clyde of DC. The ultimate power couple. The pair couples dress up as for Comic-Con.

JOKER AND HARLEY QUINN

I personally really like this couple. But there are some people who don't agree with me. And I het where they are coming from but I'm going to take this chapter to try and pursade some of those people otherwise. And I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion which is perfectly fine. So please don't leave any negative comments. Lets begin.

Harlem Quinzen was Jokers pyscologist at Arkham Asylum. This I think was probably the time Joker was the nicest to Harley. But like every couple that's how it starts out. You aren't going to be mean to someone when you first start "going out". Even if it is the Joker. He might not necessarily have "feelings" but we knows the difference between emotions. He knows the difference between nice and mean and right and wrong. He knows that in order to gain Harley's trust he has to be nice to her. Let her into his mind. Show a side he doesn't show other people. And that's what he did. That's how our lovable crazy Harley Quinn was born.

Now sure there have been so not so nice moments between the two. (That's a nice way to put it...) I'm not going to say that he wasn't abusive or try to turn it around and make it seem like he wasn't. No he was. He has hurt Harley physically and mentally. He has used her. Left her feeling betrayed and unloved. These moments have happened.

But...we have to remember that Joker is a villain. He's the bad guy. He's never felt love. He came from an extremely broken family. He doesn't know how to love. Even his nice moments seen not so nice.

Have you ever wondered why he hasn't killed her. Remember Joker kills people just for the fun of it. He finds joys out of killing people. The only reason he wouldn't is if "it would be no fun to." After Harley freed him he would have killed her right there. But he didn't. Instead he took the time to transform her into his lover. If she was that annoying as he makes it seem she'd be dead. But no...he doesn't because it wouldn't be any "fun". It wouldn't be fun because he actually likes her. He has feelings for her. While trying to make her fall in love with him, he fell in love with her.

There have also been times when he has been really overprotective over Harley. This shows that he is proud of her because he wants everyone to know that she is his and that one one can have her. Whenever she runs off or gets taken in you can usually find him looking for her, trying to get her back. At any cost.

Lets go over to Harley now. I really like this character and like I said in my other chapter I do believe she in sorta independent. We all know what she can do without Joker by her side. She is deadly and a force to be second with. Grown men twice her size fear her. She knows how to kick butt and she does it with class. Surprisingly she does have class. She knows what she wants when she wants it. She acts like a lady. A very crazy lady. But a lady never the less. She's even stood up to the Joker, making even him fear her. She knows how to get her way.

Their relationship is probably one of the realist media shows. It shows that relationships aren't all sunshine and roses. That both sides don't always love each other at the exact same time. It shows that the man won't always show his love towards his significant other. The woman will still be there anyways because she knows that deep down she has a place in his heart.

In conlusion I do really like this pair. I think its amazing. I think that they don't romanticize relationships. They show that really happens in one. I don't believe that abuse is romantic. I wish he wouldn't but when you give a villain a soulmate what do you think is gonna happen. I do believe though that they have their moments were they truely each other.
