So I'm still watching The Dark World and I noticed something else. Odin...Odin, Odin, Odin. His kingdom is about to go to war with Malikith. (Think that how you spell it.) Odin says that many of Malikiths soldiers will fall upon Asgard. Thor ask how many of their own gaurds will fall. Odin replies with "AS MANY AS I NEED!!" Now I understand how people say Loki would make a better king because in the movie Thor, he adviced his brother not to fight the Frost Giants. He told he to leave it be. Loki doesn't go to war without a purpose. In Avengers it was to rule a kingdom because he couldn't rule the one he was supposed to have. In Thor it was because he felt that it was what he was supposed to do. Odin partially told him that he was just a peace treaty. Something that he would use to his advantage if needed. So Loki, feeling like nothing, sides with his rightful family. So really the only reason Loki is a villain is because of Odin. He also picks favorites, unlike Frigga. So we see that Frigga might spend more time with Loki which is probably how he learned magic, but she also loves Thor equally. Odin on the other hand shuts Loki out and favors Thor. Comment what you think about Odin. Do you believe he is wise for favoring to go to war and not leaving things be? Or do you agree with me who thinks that he is probably the worst Marvel father?
