Chapter 8: Tattle Tale.

“We didn’t rehearse!” I heard whispering in my room…I was half-asleep now as my wolf tried to figure out how close they were…

‘Within an arm’s reach’ she told me as I pulled my arms from the covers…wait for it…

“Thought she was awake then” Another one whispered, chucking nervously…

“What are we gonna do then?”

“I dunno! Um…wanna take it old school?”

“What do you have in mind?”

“Well…we could do…”-

“No! Forget it! We should’ve rehearsed before we got here!”

“But mom told us to go to bed!”

“It’s a Sunday, stink face! She’s gonna be extra pissed!”

“I know…lucky she’s not awake”

“Extra lucky, she’d have our heads”

“Yeah, bite them off clean”

“But…we always wake her up with a song”

“Umm…let’s use 4-5-7-9”

“We haven’t”-

“I know, but we have had one session on it!”

“Alex…we can’t! We’re not ready!”

“Xander…if I thought we weren’t ready, I would’ve not mentioned it”

A sigh escaped I think Xander’s lips. “Fine…um…you wanna go for the first verse; we’ll bring it together on the chorus”

“Then you do verse 2, and we’ll just improvise okay? Just remember our rehearsal”

“Gotcha!”

“Okay bro, you ready?”

“Ready as I’ll ever be…”

“ROAR!!” I yelled, pouncing on them as they screamed like little girls.

“AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! IM BEING ATTACKED BY A LION!!”

“It’s Rosa you idiot!”

I fell off them laughing my ass off, clutching my stomach as their faces flashed through my mind, over and over again! So funny! They screamed like girls, like little girls!

THUMP!

I looked to where Catherine was lying on my bed and saw her on the floor, still asleep.

“You threw her off the bed?” Alex asked smirking, as Xander nodded understandingly.

I grinned sheepishly. I was known for my weird sleeping positions…when I slept with someone I’d either end up on top of them or they’d be off the bed…luckily Catherine fell off the bed…I don’t think me ending up on top of her would make our awkward aura…less awkward.

I shrugged. “I’m surprised she lasted that long on the bed”

They nodded in agreement. “I know…”
