The chipped parasites gather around the gallows of Arkadia, and there, stands Jaha, holding a rope. Two more parasites lead their prisoner to the hanging about to commence, and he looks into the crowd, then next to him. Ontari holds the lever that releases the floor. "Ontari..." he says, in disbelief. "Any final words, /Prince/ Roan?" Jaha asks, and he snarls. "Why, must you resist the city of light? Why resist prosperity?" "Your city is a lie." he says, growling. "Tell us... Why do you fight, 'brave' Prince?" Roan looks up, then to Ontari, "I fight for the men I've held in my arms, dying on foreign soil. I fight for their wives and children, whose names I've heard whispered in their last breaths. I fight for /my/ people, impoverished to pay the debts of an empire, too weak to eule, yet brands them criminals, for wanting to rule themselves!" he roars, "I fight, so that all the fighting I've already done, hasn't been for nothing... I fight... Because I must." "Noble last words from the dishonored Prince." Jaha says, and the crowd laughs, as Ontari drops the lever, and he hangs, his final breath, a gasp of almost relief.
