-It's been nearly 9 months
And the blades disappeared.
The scars have faded,
But the pain never leaves.
You'd think the urge had stopped,
But no!
A relapse is on the verge.
There once was a time
when sharpeners were only for pencils.
Now they lie on the ground in pieces.
The blades call his name,
But he tries to fight it,
As tears stream down his face.
"Come closer", they scream.
"Just a nic."
"Don't worry I'll make the pain go away."
He's drawn towards the blade
And picks it up.
His body is now the canvas
And the blade the pen.
He stars to write in silver,
Yet the ink is red.
Once he sets it down,
The guilt swarms his head.
He feels as if he's gonna be sick.
Nearly 9 months down the drain
And the pain reappears.
Now it's just an endless cycle
of pain, relief, and guilt.
