Safe to tell huh?
That's what they say,
So why is it, that it's not?
If it were safe to tell,
Then we wouldn't be in this spot.
We finally had gotten the guts to talk,
But now things are worse off.
You wanted us to just shake hands,
And wipe it off;
Start new,
As if none of this existed.
But that's bull shit.
The taunting will just get worse,
And we will be pushed to the edge.
The whole point of talking
was to make it stop.
That's what they said,
They'd help prevent it.
Ha, as if.
No no please tell me how having us shake hands,
Solves any of this.
How a simple I'm sorry,
Takes away the scars and pain I'll face.
They said it was safe to tell.
I believed them.
I'm sure they believed their words as well.
See but how long would it take
For the project to collapse,
And for us to realize
Nothing ever changed?
Well at least changed for the better that is.
These kids are just falling off this thin line,
They were struggling to stay on in the first place.
I get it, we aren't supposed to suffer alone,
But telling these kids that it will be solved,
Is just a false hope.
So it's safe to tell huh?
Or just maybe not?
