Author's Note

Hello Lovelies,

So, I've had this story idea for awhile, but the first time I tried to write it and post it, I realized that what I wrote didn't do the idea justice and wasn't the quality of work that I wanted represented on my account. So, I wrote a few other books, matured in my writing a bit, and I kept coming back to this idea of a boy who didn't believe his life could be turned around and a girl who wanted to convince him otherwise. 

As a Christian, I understand the power of God to save and the love of a God who will never forsake the people who love him. I wanted that to be the basis for this story. I wanted to write about how faith can turn your life around and how perfection is not what saves you, but God's love and your own faith. Jasper's life was far from perfect, as we all know, and he never acted perfect either, but God still loved him just as God still loves each and every one of us.

This was something that needed to be said and an important message that everyone deserves to hear: no one is perfect, no one is ever going to be perfect, but God is willing to save all people who believe in him. He loves everyone, no matter who they are, where the come from, what they look like and the best part it, no matter what you do, he's not going to give up on you. Whenever you feel alone or unloved or unwanted, just remember that God thinks the world of you, that he loves you and that he will take care of you. 

I hope "A Boy Named Jasper", will remind each and every one of you guys that it's never to late to turn to God and that no matter what he loves you and cares for you. No, things aren't going to be easy; I can attest to that. Some days are easier than others to have faith, but the important thing is to keep up your faith, to keep moving forward and to trust that God will carry you through. Maybe life won't get better immediately, but with God, you have something amazing and wonderful to look forward after you leave this world.

I'm so thankful that God brought us all together through this story and I just want you guys to know that you are all beautiful, smart, amazing people and that I know God has great things in store for each of you.
