Her Second Chance

Finally Home

"Regina" Emma yelled as she walked into my room. I was sleeping peacefully until she came rushing into my room.

"Emma why are you yelling, its to early to be making  so much noise." I moaned and placed a pillow on top of my head.   

"Regina its 1 in the afternoon. Did the doctor say you can leave today."She asked

"No not yet I haven't seen him today." When I said this the doctor walked in. 

"Well its nice to see that you have finally woken up. You are allowed to go home today. But, make sure that Regina takes it easy until she is feeling up to her everyday activities. So " He told Emma. 

'Ohh great now she's going to be all in my space. Ohhh great!!!!'

"Ok Dr. Will, can we leave now or we have to wait until later because I need to go take care of somethings at home." I asked the doctor. 

"Yes, Ms.Mills you may leave. Here is your medication, take it twice a day and remember to ice your nose. Feel better, and take it easy." He told me as he left the room.

"Finally, I can get out of this ugly gown and into some real clothes." I said as I snapped my fingers and changed into some jeans and a top. I heard Emma snickering as she came to get my meds and my bags. 

"Whats so funny" I asked

"It's funny that you can be in the hospital for almost more than 24 hrs for a bruised nose and a concussion and act like nothing happened. Regina I don't know how you do the things that you do, but you sure know how to pull it off."

"Emma, you have to remember that I use to be a Queen. I can't let anything hold me back. I have to keep going even if I don't feel well. And if you don't mind can you drive me home so I can see Coco and chill before I have to go to work tomorrow."

"Alright my Queen lets go then" Emma tells me as we walk down to the parking lot.

As soon as we turn into the drive way of my house, I see Coco, Snow and Henry all in the front yard playing. But Henry suddenly stopped when he saw me getting out the car and Coco came running towards me and jumped up and licked my hand as I pet her head. 

"Well I'm happy to see you to" I said to her as she continued to lick me. 

"Hey Regina, so welcome back home. How are you?" Snow asked as she helped Emma get my bags out the car. 

"I'm ok, but my head hurts slightly, but other than that I'm fine." I told her as Henry hugged me.

We all walked in the house and Emma and Snow put my bags in the living room as Henry, Coco and I walked upstairs. I still wonder who gave me the Bear at the hospital. As we walked up the stairs Coco ran in front of me and Henry. 

"Henry, did you leave me a bear when you came up to the hospital."

"Yea, do you like it?"

"Yea, I love it"

"Whats been happening around here while I was gone."

"Nothing really. I've finished all my homework, if you feel like it can we watch a movie later and just chill" He asked

"Sure, just let me get situated and I will. Just remind me." I replied to him as I walked into my room. I still can't believe that Mark cheated on me. After all the things he had said to me. But I'm going to let it go. Now that I think about it I need to go out back and take care of my tree. I put my things in my closet and walk back down stairs with Coco. Emma and Snow are still here, sitting in the bay window. 

As I walk past them Snow says, " Regina You need to take you meds and put the ice on your nose. Here" She hands me my medication and I take it right in her face so she would be satisfied. 

"There, I took it. And I will put the ice on my nose later. Thanks Snow for staying with Henry, I've got everything from here. You and Emma can leave now, I promise to give you both a call if I need anything." I told them

"Ok, Regina We're leaving, tell Henry if he wants to come over he can." Emma said

They both leave and I go in the kitchen to get a ice pack for my nose. I decide to go outside and Coco continues to follow me so I sit in the yard with her for a while then she falls asleep. I waited a while, then went to my garden to check on my tree. As I inspect it, it looks just as healthy as before. 

'I guess this tree is hydrated enough.' My thoughts are interrupted when I hear someone crying. 

"Who's there, don't try to hide." I say softly. A little boy comes out the bushes behind me that helps hide my garden. He looks like he's around 3 yrs old with beautiful curly hair. 

"Hi there, whats your name, and why are you crying." I ask the little boy. He doesn't say anything, he just stares at me. 

"Where are your parents" I ask him. He does't answer and starts to cry even harder. 

"Its ok, come here" I say to him and he walks into my arms. If you know me I may have been evil in the past but I have always had a soft spot for children. I couldn't stand to see this little boy crying. So, I pick him up and he hold on to me like his life depends on it. I begin walking to my house when he begins to say something. I couldn't understand what he said, but I didn't ask him to repeat it because he was so upset. 

"My name is....

Hey guys, I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've had a busy week, but who do you think this little boy is. I'll try to update by the end of this week, but if I don't please don't be mad.
