Zane's P.O.V: five years later

It has been five years since Lucy and I broke up. I still miss her everyday. I often think about how our lives would be if I was still with her. However I'm not with her but with Montana. Montana and I have been engaged for two years. She is married to her work and that is saying a lot coming from me since I own three businesses that are doing really well. Montana doesn't show me any attention most of the time. When she does it is mostly for sex. She doesn't even do romantic stuff for me anymore. I haven't even seen Lucy for three years now.

I am getting ready to go check on one of my businesses. I drive to the arcade that I own. I walk in and the manger welcomes me. She says, " Hey Miss. Zane. What brings you by today?"

" Just doing my weekly check. How are things going?"

" They are going really well. Bussiness is busy like always. Since it is summer more kids are coming in during the weekdays."

" That's good. When does summer camp start here?"

" In two weeks and the spots are filling up fast."

" That is really good to hear. I will be back in a week. Keep up the good work."

" Thanks miss. Have a good day."

" You too."

I leave and drive to my second business. My second bussiness is a pool hall. I walk in and go find the manger. The manger is Dylan. Even though Lucy and I broke up he still stayed close to me because of Montana. He gives me a hug and I hug him back. He says, " So how is your day going?"

" It's going good. The arcade is booming. Summer camp is going to start there in two weeks."

" That's cool. I wish Lucy would talk to you because I know Kingsley would really enjoy going to the summer camp there."

" Well it's not like Lucy knows I own the place. You could always mention it to her and she could check it out. Just don't let her know that I'm the owner."

" Yeah that could work. I will talk to her about it and let you know what she says."

" Thanks."

" Your welcome. As you can see business here is good. Do you want to go play pool?"

" Yeah I can see that which makes me happy. We should go and play pool."

He nods and I follow him to a table. He rackes the balls. I shoot first and clean the table. We spend another two hours playing.

I then leave to go to my third business which is a club. I walk in and everyone is having a good time. There is a place where the vips can watch strippers. I walk back there because I know that is where the manger will be. I find her there. My club is a lesbian club. I see a dancer and I get shocked at who I see. I walk up onto the stage and take my jacket off to cover her up. I say, " First of all your not a lesbian and second of all I don't want to see my aunt up on the pole."

Crystal says, " A girl has to make money somehow."

" Yeah but not like this."

I have her get down and call for another stripper to come out. I walk up to the manger and say, " I don't ever want to see a family member of mine up there again. Do you understand?"

" Yes ma'am. She said you were fine with it."

" Well she lied. You need to check with me about these types of things. I could fire you for this."

" I know and I'm sorry. It won't happen again."

" Ok well get back to work."

" Yes ma'am."

I'm glad my parents left me money when they passed because it allowed me to open up my first bussiness.
