Chapter Seven:

Lucy's POV:

Zane gets to my class early and she tries to flirt but fails. Man I could teach her how to flirt. No I can't. Lucy just because she is flirting with you doesn't mean you have to act on it. Danm she just bit her lip.

She is so sexy I just want to kiss her so bad. I know I can't though. I could never kiss her while she is my student. Hell I don't even know if I could kiss her since she is my daughter's bestfriend. I'm cool with it because of my moms but I need to talk to Tammy to see how it made her feel.

No I don't need to talk to Tammy. The rest of my class gets here and I start the class by showing them the play I want them to work on. People will be grouping up. I pick a random student to act with me.

This seen from the play is ballroom dancing. I take the student's hand and lead her around the class room. She isn't that bad of a dancer. I spot Zane and wish I would have picked her. I see her checking me out and I try to fight back a blush.

I part from my dancing partner and pair everyone up. They start dancing. They dance the class away.

After having class with Zane in it I decide that I do need to talk to Tammy. The day flies by.

I ask Montana to pick up her brothers. She agrees to do so.

On the way to Tammy's a song comes on. I feel like it fits this moment so I start singing it.

I get to Tammy's and I walk into her house. I call out for her. She lets me know that she is in the living room. I walk in and sit down. She says, " So what brings you by when you will see me at dinner tonight?"

" Well I wanted to see how you felt and feel about mom and momma being together?"

" Well you know at first I didn't like it. It was more to do with me thinking that she was taking dad's place more then anything. I wanted mom to be happy but with dad. After I was ok with it it was still weird. When the twins where two and I was used to them calling her nana it stopped being weird. When she married mom even though it was weird I gained another mom that day but she was and is still my bestfriend. Why do you ask?"

" Because I may be falling for one of Montana's bestfriends."

" Oh no. If it is one of her bestfriends then it is also your student. You need to be careful. If it is Zane though you two have always had a connection and I say go for it."

" Wow you think so? It is Zane but it is crazy that you figured it out."

" I see how you look at her. Like I said be careful but at the same time follow your heart. You deserve to be happy and if anyone could make you happy after Zack then it is Zane."

I smile and hug her.

We leave and head to my moms house. When we get there everyone is already there. I hug everyone. All my nieces and nephews are there. They all range in age. Tammy's twins are the oldest. Dylen is the only one who doesn't have kids but he does have a girlfriend. He is the youngest. He is 26 years old. Tammy is the oldest and she is 44.

We sit down and eat our dinner. My momma is the best cook ever.
