Chapter 18 - Running Towards You

"Y/N..."

I heard my name being called quietly.

"Y/N....."

Who is-

I suddenly felt slaps on my face and I instantly opened my eyes and bolted upright. 

I quickly looked around the room and noticed that all of the production members were standing above me, looking down at me, and that Jess and Choon-Hee were kneeling down beside me.

"W-What happened?" I asked, confused at the current situation.

"Well, you kind of passed out," Jess explained.

"Right after the news about Sehun on the T.V," Choon-Hee finished.

Oh my god, that's right!

"So is it true?" Jess asked.

"Is what true?" I retorted.

"Are you dating Sehun?!" Choon-Hee questioned.

I glanced around again to see that everyone was staring at me, waiting for an answer.

"U-Um...I don't..." I stuttered. 

They all leaned in, expecting a answer.

I felt very intimidated by the sudden attention of everyone.

"M-Maybe?" I shyly answered, giving into the pressure of the group.

At this, I heard gasps from around the room. 

"Oh...my...god," Jess stated.

The room that was recently silent suddenly became loud, filled with the whispers and talk of the other production members.

I could feel my face turning red at the mention of Sehun and I.

"How could you not tell us?!" Choon-Hee accused.

"It all happened so fast! I was going to tell you guys today but it looks like Sehun beat me to it," I explained.

"What am I going to do?" I quietly whispered to myself, realizing what kind of a situation I am in now.

"You should call him," Jess suggested.

"Yeah, see what he has to say about the situation. I mean, obviously, he thought it was a good idea to share it with the whole world, so you need to probably see what his thoughts were behind it," Choon-Hee agreed.

"Y-Yeah," I started. "You guys are right. I am going to go call him real quick. I will be right back," I told them as I walked into the hallway.

After closing the door behind me and looking around the area to make sure no one was in the proximity, I pulled out my phone and dialed his number.

"Hello~" he picked up, singly.

"Hi," I said shortly.

"How is my lovely girlfriend doing?" he asked.

"Well, I was all lovely until this morning! What the hell?! You told everyone that you were dating someone AND that it is me?! Are you trying to kill me! How cou-"

"Okay, calm down," Sehun said, cutting me off. "I thought that talking about it was the best way to solve this issue." he explained.

"Did your members and manager even know about the interview from last night?" I asked.

"Well...no...but I thought that it would be better to handle it myself. I had to tell everyone about us. The thought about not being able to be seen with you in public killed me and the idea of people standing outside your house all day to see who the supposed person was in the scandal with me, made me furious as I would not be able to come and protect you. I came to the conclusion that telling everyone about us and our relationship, was the best answer."
