:::Stiles Stillinski:::

The game was just about to start. Ava came up to me, gripping her lacrosse stick tightly.
"You wearing the dog tag?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Good." She said, then got in position. I ignored her one-word comment that gave me no answer whatsoever and focused on the game.
Barely a minute into the game, I already had a bulldozer of a guy running at me. I was sure to get hit, but surprisingly, instead of freezing like I always do, I jumped out of the way.
Then again, when another was coming. And again.
And then I realized I had the ball and started running, dodging players as if they had the bubonic plague. I ran, even jumped over one guy, and shot the ball into the goal.
Then I froze. Because holy shit, Stiles freaking Stillinski just dodged all the players and shot a freaking goal.
I could hear coach screaming, "That's it, Stillinski! I don't know what happened, But keep it up!"
I threw my arms in the air and felt Ava next to me.
"Good job." She said. There was no emotion behind it. Not joy, not anger, not sadness. Just empty.
I wondered if she was just trying to keep her space after what happened between me and Scott.
Scott. I frowned. Was he really that mad at me? Were we still friends?
I ran and got into position again, trying to push the negative thoughts out of my way. Then, Liam came next to me.
"There's a wolf on the other team."
I groaned, "seriously?"
He just nodded, "I'll cover you."
I groaned, "just leave it alone." I spat on accident. Poor little Liam.
He didn't say anything as he just got in position. The buzzard sounded loudly, and players rushed towards us.
And I could tell which was the werewolf, because he was pissed off. Beyond pissed off, because his eyes were glowing yellow under his helmet. And he was charging me.
I jumped out of the way, but he was practically chasing me like I was bacon. Surprisingly, The ball came my way and I catched it and started to run. The wolf ran into me, and I nearly fell but somehow didn't. I kept running, threw the ball, and watched as it hit the goal.
"Go, Stiles! That's my boy!" I heard my dad yell, "Go son!"
I smirked and just shook my head.
Why was I so good suddenly? It wasn't like I got bitten or anything.
Oh wait.
The necklace.
She was serious when she said it was for protection.
I frowned a little, knowing that I wasn't really any good at Lacrosse, but at least I could be for awhile.
The buzzard sounded, and the crowd roared.
For the first time in a long time, I felt confident in the game.

Later...

"Wow, Nice job Stillinski." I heard Jackson of all people say, "It was like people couldn't even get to you." He stepped closer, "what's your secret, huh?"
Scott was coming, but I wasn't going to let him step in.
"Practice. Unlike you, I don't cheat." Ok, that was a lie now to think about it.
Jackson growled and I just smiled and walked off.
I went to Ava who was standing with Kira, Allison, and Lydia.
"Stiles! You did great!" Allison cheered as she hugged me tight. I smiled, "thanks." I said awkwardly.
"You did great too, Ava. I'm surprised you never played before?" Allison smiled.
Ava shrugged, "It's nothing."
"Well, We have to go change. Do you want to go out to celebrate afterwards?" Kira asked with excitement.
"Sure." Allison said. Lydia shrugged, "That's fine with me."
Kira turned to Ava and I. "Ava? Stiles? Want to?"
I shrugged, "sure why not?" I smiled.
Ava sighed, "I guess so."
Kira jumped up and down, "Yay! OK cool, lets get changed! I'm going to ask Scott."
Ah, Scott. I needed to talk to him.
I frowned and quickly left towards the locker room.

"Scott." I said, entering the locker room and seeing Scott quickly change.
I sighed when he didn't respond, "I'm sorry. Can we...can we please not fight? How about we go out and celebrate with the girls?"
He bit his lip and heaved a sigh, "I've been thinking."
"Oh no." I joked.
He rolled his eyes but he still smiled. "I'm sorry too, Stiles. You're right. Maybe she is...different. And besides, it's your choice."
"Wait, really? So you're going to give her a chance?"
He groaned, "yeah. Stiles."
I threw my arms in the air, "Yes!" I yelled. I let my arms drop after people started starring. "Oh, so you wanna go then?"
Scot just laughed. "Let's go, and you did great tonight."
"Thanks." I smirked, "The necklace helped."
His eyes widened as if he just realized it, then he smiled. "I guess she does have good intentions."
I smirked as we walked out and found the girls. "Yup." I said, as we made our way over.
