*bring me the horizon alarm rings*
We both awoke startled. "You really need to change that alarm ,Leo" Kasey spoke in a slurred and sleepy voice.
I switched my alarm off and watched Kasey lay there blissfully.
We both got up and had a wash ,done our teeth and hair and were out the door by 10am. Today we were meeting Charlie and Jess and also going to buy our funeral outfits. I'm not really talented at picking out clothes so this will be a challenge for me.however Kasey has been shopping for clothes ever since she learnt how to dress herself so it's like riding a bike for her.
Kasey's POV
Once we got into town I decided to treat ourselves to a McDonald's breakfast as it was only 10:15 am. I had a breakfast wrap and Leo had pancakes. Typical Leo. We then went to meet Jess and Charlie. Well, let's just say their relationship is now official. When we got there they were kissing and it was so awkward. We all talked about plans and then Jess asked what we were doing Saturday. Me and Leo went quiet. I looked over at him and he was looking at the floor with tears welling up . I squeezed his hand and said we had a funeral to go to. "aww who's funeral is it?" Jess asked rather politely. "My mums" Leo answered .We all sat there awkwardly not knowing what to say next. "We are sorry to hear that" replied Charlie after what seemed a few minutes. We all chatted for a while and then decided to go home at 11:30 am. Once Leo and I got home we went to the front room and watched TV for a while.Mum was still at work and will be until tomorrow. That meant me and Leo had the house to ourselves. Maybe Charlie and Jess come round Sunday to cheer Leo up.
