“Is he still…?” Tempest began asking Alfred as she entered the cave. “Yes.” Alfred cut in. She sighed. This was becoming an obsession for Batman. She walked over to the other end of the bat cave where batman was sitting. “Bats.” She called. “She is doing an amazing job.” Batman smiled not bothering to look at Tempest. “It’s not her, give it a rest.” Tempest said. “She is never seen clearly in any picture and no one suspects her and no one can even tell who or what she is.” Batman said impressed. Batman being impressed was a very hard feat to achieve. “Yeah, we don’t even know if it is a boy or a girl.” She agreed hoping to let this topic go. “The fact that her own sister can’t identify her is a marvellous job.” Batman continued to appreciate. “She is getting really good, the flash can never get her either.” Batman said. “Yeah, but whoever it is, they aren’t as fast as the Flash.” Tempest said crossing her hands over her chest. “She is still young. She has plenty of time to improve.” Batman said dismissing the matter as if it weren’t important. “We don’t even know if it is a SHE!” Tempest yelled as she stormed off angry at the one sided conversation that had just taken place.
‘The purple streak sighted again!’ ‘The purple streak saved my life!’ ‘Purple streak averts collision of a bus and a truck saving more than three dozen people!’ ‘Purple streak; human or not?’ ‘Purple streak cracks missing person’s case’ ‘Purple streak stops a bank robbery.’ ‘Purple streak is our Guardian Angel.’ ‘Purple streak is my hero.’ ‘Purple streak saviour of Starheights city.’                   
Batman smiled as he stared at the wall filled with sightings and reports of the Purple Streak.
