Chapter 2

Emma's POV

I packed up everything and luckily for me I dont own many things. After everything was packed I put it in my car and went back inside.

"Okay Emma you be safe out there." Mary-Margaret says and hugs me.

"I'll see you soon." I say to her.

"Be safe, we will miss you. Good luck Emma." David says hugging me.

"Okay I better hit the rode." I say to them.

I got into my car waved to them and started to drive away. After about an hour or so I arrived in LA ready to start this job.

Emma Swan, go to this address for your new living arrangements and I will see you Monday morning at my place. Heres the address for that too.

Killian Jones.

Well my new place is nice and already furnished so all I need to do now is unpack.

"Hello." This woman says to me.

"Hi." I say to her.

"Im Regina I work with Killian Jones. I just wanted to make sure you made it okay." She says to me.

"Well that you. Oh and congrats." I say to her.

"Thanks. Anyway umm if you want I can get my husband to help you." She offers.

"No I got it, but thanks. Oh and see you Monday." I tell her.

"Yeah you too." She says.

I went inside and put everything away. I looked around this apartment it was nice and cozy but it wasnt home. Monday morning came around and it was time to work for Killian Jones.

Killian's POV

Today I wasnt in the mood because Milah was getting on my nerves.

Phone Call.

Milah: Look Killian she has a big school project. I will take her next week.

Killian: You always say that when you dont want to bring her over. I can have Liam or Regina or Robin pick her up.

Milah: Look shes really working on her school work next week promise.

Then she just hung up.

"Let me guess Milah isnt bring your daughter over?" Liam asks.

"Its doesnt matter. If my 16 year old doesnt want to come see me its fine." I tell him.

"Oh Emma's here." Liam says opening the door

"Umm hello?" Swan asks walking in.

"Swan welcome, heres a long list of stuff you need to do today." I say to her.

"Umm yeah okay." She says.

"Get to it." I say waving her away.

"Killian be nice." Liam says.

"Not in the mood." I say and walk up to my room.

Emma's POV

"Sorry about him. His ex wont bring his daughter over." Liam tells me.

"Well I should get to work on his stuff." I say.

I got into my car and went out all day to get Killian what he needed. It was now dark when I got back. I knocked on his door and Killian answered.

"Look whos back." He says.

"Sorry I got lost." I say to him.

"Well come on in." He says.

"Thanks." I say.

The phone ringed and Killian answered and started yelling. The he hung up quickly.

"You can go now." He say rudely.

"Look if Im going to work for you we need to be on good terms." I tell him.

"Look I dont know you. You just work for me." He says.

"I get that, but this is my first day here and I want to quite already. I cant work for someone who is rude." I say to him and walk out.

"Swan, wait." He says.

"To late for waits." I say.

"Look today I have had a bad day. I shouldnt have took it out on you. Dont go. I need a strong worker." He says.

"Fine I'll give it one more day and thats all." I say to him.

"Well Im not going to be super nice to you, but I wont let my bad days over work you okay." He says.

"Fine. Just one question. Why wont your ex bring your daughter?" I ask.

"I really dont know, but it doesnt matter. Look I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow." He says.

I went inside my car and I knew one thing he was lying about that it does matter his daughter isnt around.
