Chapter 30

Killian's POV

I was in the airport after an emergency stop and I dont know when I will be going home. I tried calling Emma, but she wasnt answering and then I tried Olivia who actually answered.

Phone Call.

Olivia: Hi Dad.

Killian: Hey where's Emma?

Olivia: She went to visit her friends.

Killian: And she left you behind?

Olivia: No I am with her right now.

Killian: Oh why isnt she answering her phone?

Olivia: Well she cant answer the phone while driving.

Killian: Right. Can you put me on speaker please?

Olivia: Alright your on.

Killian: Hey. I wanted you both to know that Im not sure when I will be back.

Emma: Okay. Well I miss you and I love you.

Killian: I miss you too and I love you lots.

Olivia: Okay. You two are gross.

Killian: Sorry. I miss you too baby.

Olivia: Im not a baby. Just come home soon.

Killian: I'll try.

Emma: Well we love you.

Killian: I love you both. Okay Im going to go to find out whats going on. I'll let you know. Bye.

End Phone Call.

Emma's POV

It kills me to be away from him for so long. Olivia isnt really upset over this and I dont know why. After we got to my friend's place. I just broke down.

"Emma, hey its okay." Mary-Margaret says.

"He isnt here." I say.

"Well he will be back okay." David says.

"How come this effects you differently?" Mary-Margaret asks Olivia.

"Im just used to him not being here all the time. So its normal for me to deal with this." Olivia tells her.

"Excuse me." I say and rush to the bathroom.

"Em, whats the matter?" Mary-Margaret asks.

"Im just all worked up and threw up thats all." I tell her.

"Maybe you should talk to Olivia she is used to him being gone. Hey wait did you take your medication?" She asks.

"No. I ran out thats why I came down here so yes I just had a bad anxiety attack." I tell her.

"Go talk to that girl. She has this brave face on, but I can tell she is hurting just as bad as you." She says.

"Well maybe I should talk to her." I say.

"Yeah go she is upset." She says.

I got up and went to talk to Olivia. When I saw her I could see what Mary-Margaret was talking about she is putting a brave face on. She probably thought that it would be better now that he has been in her life. She can say it doesnt bug her, but she is hurting.

"Olivia are you sure your okay?" I ask her.

"Yeah Im fine." She says.

"Listen your dad will be back soon and I know it crushes me and you dont have to act brave if you miss him more then anything. Just show it." I say.

"No its okay. Im used to it. Yeah I miss him, but I know he will be back." She says.

The next day we went back home and the front door was open and I didnt know what to do. Olivia thought walked into the house and there was a scream.

"Olivia are you... Killian." I say.

"Hello love." He says to me.

Olivia let her father go and I rushed to him and hugged him. I now know why Olivia screamed. He was home and everything was better now.
