Chapter 15

Emma's POV

"Why did you quit?" Olivia asks me.

"Well my book got picked up then dropped." I tell her.

"Thats a lie. Emma I've gotten to know you pretty well. So could you please tell me what happened?" She asks.

"Olivia I cant." I say.

"That sounds like my dad when he would push me away and not want to spend time with me." She says.

"Wow your go at this guilt thing. Okay fine you want to know the truth?" I ask.

"Yes." She says.

"Fine. I have feelings for your father and a small moment happened between us and I found out he wasnt into me without him saying it. So heartbroken I left." I say.

"Wow. Thats... Wow." She says.

"Great I sound stupid." I say.

"No thats not it. Its just I thought he liked you and you left because you didnt like him that way." She says.

"You really think he likes me?" I ask.

"Even before the make over I thought he liked you." She says.

"Gosh that changes everything. I thought he thought I was a loser then and didnt even like me when I changed." I say.

"Well I think you should just talk to him and find out how he really feels." She says.

"Im only coming back to watch out for you." I say.

"Emma you were basically asked by my father to be my replacement mother and the thing is I wont actually hate you like I do my actual mom." She says.

"Okay well. Lets just make sure that we worry about this right now. Once we get your mother and her boyfriend out of your way maybe I will talk to your dad." I tell her.

"Well were here. Theres my dad." She says pointing at him.

"Livvy, Emma, good your both here. Come on inside." Killian says to us.

"Olivia, Im Isaac Heller. You father's lawyer." He says to Olivia.

"No! Go away!" Olivia yells at him.

"Olivia whats wrong?" I ask her.

"Thats him. My mother's gentlemen friend." She says.

"In personating a lawyer and waiting here to take my daughter away. Im going to kill you." Killian says.

"Killian stop it." I say pulling him away.

"Now Olivia get in the car. We have things to discuss." Isaac tells her.

"Your not taking her anywhere. Your going to jail." I say.

"With what proof." Milah says walking in.

"Milah what the hell? You let this man do things to our daughter. Im not letting either of you hurt her. She is covered in bruises and Im not going to let you take her." Killian says.

"I dont care what you think Killian. I really dont care." Milah says.

Just then the cops showed up and come inside. Olivia had her phone in her hand. Now all we have to do is tell them what happened and hope that they believe the girl thats all beat up.
