Chapter 58

Emma's POV

I have been back for the last two weeks and Killian had been acting very weird. I ask him and he says nothing. He always leaves the room while on the phone. He stops talking to his brother and or daughter when I walk in. Its like he isnt happy with me at all. Maybe all that crap he said back in Paris and on the plane was crap.

"Yeah I think.... Swan hey." Killian says when he sees me hanging up the phone.

"Hey you. Is everything okay?" I ask.

"Yeah everything is just fine." He lies.

"Okay. Hey how about we do something today?" I ask.

"I cant sweetie I wish I could, but I have a surprise for you. The reason I have been so weird. Look whos here." He says.

The front door opened and David and Mary-Margaret walked in.

"Emma its so nice to see you." Mary-Margaret says and hug me.

"You too." I say.

"Well I will let you all get acquainted. I have work to do." Killian says.

He kissed my head and walked out of the house.

"That lying piece of shit." I say.

"Emma what are you saying?" David asks.

"He is lying to me. I know it. You two are just a thing hiding what he is doing." I say.

"Em no. Killian loves you. He asked us to come see you since its been so long." Mary-Margaret says.

"Ha please. Theres more to it then that." I say.

"Okay then. How about we all go to lunch?" David asks.

"Yeah I guess that could be okay." I say.

Killian's POV

I waited for Emma's friends to take her out and then went back into the house. Olivia was on the couch waiting for me.

"You need to stop." She says.

"Stop what?" I ask.

"She knows your lying and possible thinks your cheating and dont love her anymore." She says.

"Thats not true I love her and Im proposing tonight." I say.

"Yeah well you better hurry because she is pissed at you." She tells me.

That night I made Emma and home cooked meal and she was acting weird. Olivia was right I might have gave Emma the wrong impression.

"Emma Swan, you make me very happy and I wouldnt want to be with anyone but you. Your beautiful and talented. Your kind and generous. You have been through alot because of me and yet you still seem to love me. I love you so much." I say to her taking her hands in mine.

"I love you too Killian." She says.

I kissed her hands and the  reached into my pocket and pulled out the ring box.

"Well since you love me and I love you and I can see a future with you. I never want to go another day without knowing that your heart belongs to me because mine belongs to you. So Emma Swan would you do me the great honor and Marry Me?" I ask opening the box.

She took a deep breath and looked me in the eyes and then looked at the ring.

"No." She says and gets up and walked away from me.

I felt my heartbreak in my chest when she said no. I guess she doesnt love me as much as I do her. Maybe I rushed it. Her saying no is on a repeat in my head and it kills me. My heart was now sinking in my chest. This is the worse pain I have honestly have ever felt in my inter life.
