The next morning at 7am, Simon woke up next to Raphael and he got out of bed. He grabbed a pair of sweatpants and put them on. He grabbed his phone. He went to the kitchen and grabbed a mug. He put some blood in it and he sat on a couch. He looked at his phone and saw a message from Jace. It read Hey Simon! Are you coming to train? It's past 5am.

Simon texted back Be there soon. My alarm didn't ring. Raphael probably turned it off. Sometimes I hate him. I'll be there in about 20 minutes.

Jace texted Okay. See you in 20 Simon. Simon finished his blood and ran to the bedroom.

He got to the bedroom and put on a shirt. He saw that Raphael wasn't in bed. Simon said, "I'm heading to the institute to train. You can come if you want and stop turning off my alarm." Simon ran out of the bedroom and ran outside.

He got to the institute and ran to the training room. He saw Jace, Clary, Alec, and Magnus. Alec heard him come in and Alec said, "Hey Simon! Did Raphael really turn off your alarm?" Simon nodded.

Magnus said, "He really hates noises that early in the morning. We can always send Raphael a thought through Alec to get him to send you to training. I can see that you ate. Is Raphael coming?"

Simon answered "I don't know. He was up when I left, but I left as he was in the bathroom probably having a shower. Someone is coming. I guess that Raphael did come. We should all hide from him and scare him." They turned off the lights and hid from Raphael. Simon hid on top of the door against the wall thanks to his fingernails. Magnus hid behind knife targets and Jace hid behind some punching bags. Alec jumped up and caught onto the ceiling. He hid in the rafters. Clary hid behind the door. Everyone quieted their breathing. Raphael walked in and stood in front of the door. Simon jumped down and pushed Raphael against the wall. He kissed Raphael on the lips. Raphael was surprised and he kissed Simon back. Raphael deepened the kiss and Clary jumped from behind the door.

Everyone else came out too. Magnus turned on the lights and said, "Get a room you 2."

Simon smiled against Raphael's lips. Raphael broke the kiss and said, "I knew exactly where you all were. I expected Clary or Jace to jump out first, but mi rey did. Jace was behind the punching bags and Magnus was behind the knife targets. My fledgling was on the rafters in the ceiling and Clary was behind the door. I heard your breathing and I could smell where you all were. I used my senses except I didn't know where Simon hid. I didn't know where he was until he jumped in front of me and pushed me against the wall and kissed me." Simon kissed Raphael again.

Jace said, "Gay guys, why can't they control themselves? I'm so tired of the 4 of you. Go to a room or don't kiss at all. God. Let's train now. Simon is 2 hours late."

Raphael said, "I did that. I turned off his alarm so he could train later. He doesn't need to train as much as you guys because he is a vampire and he has his senses and powers. He has his strength, fingernails, and excellent speed."

Simon asked "Where's Izzy?"

Alec said, "My sister is spending the day with Melorian and taking the day off from training. I'm letting her because we just need to train me and Simon more. The rest of us know how to fight. Simon just figured out that he is a shadowhunter and he needs to use his vamp and shadowhunter powers together. We can train him to use them together with Raphael's help of course."

Jace said, "We are also training Alec because he has wings and magic. Plus he has vamp powers. Alec can use his wings and magic together. The problem is the vamp parts like his fangs, speed, and strength with his eyesight."
