"Man! I don't like shopping," Jackson frowned. "The only thing that I have for lunch is the salad," "Oh don't worry about it Jackson," Keagan said while holding the bags with some school supplies and clothes. "You will get used to it whenever it comes to going to the mall and some places, this is Los Angeles and we are thirty minutes away from the Thompsons Household," Mychal and Klay took the kids to the mall to shop for school supplies and clothes. "How should I know that school is going to start at the end of August?" Chris continued. "No wonder why school starts early in these days, I hope your dad doesn't feel irritated," "My dad is not irritated Chris," Keagan frowned while taking a sip of lemonade. "He knows whenever it comes to school activities, how about we join the science olympaid, but my dad has to see the paper," "You mean a permission slip for your parents?" He asked. "Well yes," Keagan responded to Chris. "We need a permission slip, your parents need to sign it, I need to sign it, I mean come on guys we should know that," "My brother's right," Lauren stood up. "We need to get a permission slip signed by teachers," "What is the Science Olympaid for?" Klay started to wonder. "Is it like the club from school or something? Because I want to know," "Dad! We're not there yet," Keagan sighed. "We did not go to school today, the heck. I did not get the list yet, there's many of them," "Okay okay son," Klay stopped him for a moment. "I get it, I know you and your friends are doing something else when it comes to the activities after school. Besides, I have to see the paper first, so that I can allow you to join anything you want as long as you finish your homework," "Exactly dad," The silly answers made Keagan feel sarcastic. "If we can think of it, why not I ever need to figure out what to do?" "Don't worry about it," Mychal Thompson smiled. "My son needs to know what you and your friends are doing, don't worry you are not in trouble dears, if you need any help, you can call Klay, Mychel, Trayce or me if you like," "Thanks for your offering Mychal," Chris heard what Mychal said. "We will do anything to make that happen," "Good," He replied. "At least I paid for the school stuff, so we should go home now and rest,"
Next, Chris started playing Battlefield. Tori was crying upstairs as Lauren went in Mychel's bedroom to see if Tori needed her father or not. "Tori what happened?" Lauren was surprised. "My goodness Tori, you have been looking for your father huh?" She carried her as she started communicating with Tori. "I know you have been crying for Mychel and Seth, but just remember that your parents will be back soon, you want me to get something for you or you're okay? If you're hungry, I can make something for you to eat," She walks downstairs while Jackson is reading a magazine. The crying made Jackson wonder whether it was Tori or not. "Lauren what happened to Tori? Why is she crying?" "Sorry about that Jackson," She said. "Tori was crying because she needed her parents, my brother told me that they went shopping because we were low on food, sanitary items and stuff," "Oh okay," Jackson went back to the couch. Klay, Mychal and Stephen Curry are still busy cleaning the garage. "In fact, I'll call dad because we thought we are going to Venice Beach tomorrow, I have a swimsuit, It is in my dad's drawers," Lauren said
"Ask Mychal if we can go to the beach tomorrow?" Chris suggests. "Sure thing Chris," Keagan replied. "I'll ask him later when he is finished cleaning," Keagan goes upstairs as he brought his laptop with him. As Keagan was playing games on his laptop, he heard a dad voice that might catch his attention. "Keagan," Klay Thompson calls him. Keagan closes his computer quickly as he went downstairs to look around. "Yes dad what is it?" Keagan wondered. "May I talk to you for a moment son?" He went to him as Keagan began to listen to his father's conversations. "It seems that you are excited for your next chapter as you reached to your Sophomore year, but I just to say that, I want you to be happy son, when you graduate, I want you to get a job and I hope that someday you will get married and have children on your own, if something is difficult for, I will help you," "Right," He nods. "Thanks dad," "You're welcome," he answered. "I'll let you get back to your thing for now,"
