It's your fault - Levi X Reader

Chapter 6

"(Y/n)!" Isabelle called.
"What is it?" you asked.
"The bird is ready to fly! His wings are totally healed!" Isabelle announced.
"That's amazing!" You truly shared her happiness. Isabelle had taken care of the bird in the past months and now it was ready to get out of the underground.
Levi and Farlan entered the living room in that moment.
"Levi-bro!" Isabelle called "Look! The bird is already good to fly! We have to take him out of here!"
"Tch, fine." Was all that Levi said with the same boring expression as always. Farlan giggled at the situation and said "I know just the place to do that! Get your 3DMG."
"Where is this place?" You asked.
"You'll see (y/n). It's kind of a surprise. I was thinking in taking you all there someday but I think now is the perfect situation." Farlan answered.
You all put the 3DMG and got out of the house. Farlan led you into a place above the houses to what looked liked a hole on the ceiling of the Underground City. When you reached your final destination, it was a space that looked like a cave with a big hole on the top and the sun light illuminated the hole place. You could see the blue sky with some clouds and big green trees.
"Farlan, it's beautiful!" Isabelle exclaimed.
Seeing the blue sky made you feel nostalgic and you remembered when you used to live up there with your parents before they died and Kenny saved you. You felt your eyes tear up and a single tear rolled down your cheek.
"(Y/n), are you ok?" Levi asked.
"Sorry, it's nothing." You answered.
"Of course it's something, otherwise you wouldn't be crying" Levi stated.
"OK, I was thinking of when I used to live up there with my parents before they died." You said.
"You used to live up there, (y/n)?" Isabelle asked.
"Yes, but I don't remember it very well since my patents died when I was to young and then I ended up here."
"I wish I could live up there, with no worries." Isabelle said.
"You will see" Farlan said "One day the four of us will be leaving this place and have a life up there!"
Even if you were crying a few moments ago now you couldn't stop smiling upon hearing your friends words.
"I think that's a promise then" you said smiling.
"Yeah!" Isabelle shouted "What about you Levi-bro?"
"Tch, whatever you guys want." He said and ruffled Isabelle's hair.
Even though he seemed not to show any interest, you knew that Levi really cared about all of you and would do anything for you. He wanted to left this shitty place like a the rest of you and have a happy life on the surface.
"Isabelle, don't you think it's time for you to let the bird go?" Farlan asked, his voice bringing you back to what was happening. "After all, that's what we came here for" he added.
"Yeah, that's right" Isabelle said and smiled brightly. She picked up the bird that was resting in her head and took him near the whole that led to the surface. The bird didn't lose time. It spread his wings and flew out of the Underground City. You kept on watching the bird flying higher and higher until you couldn't see him anymore.
'I wish I could have wings like that, and fly to anywhere, see the whole world without a single preoccupation and no worries.' You thought.
