Chapter 22

Before you read, I just wanna say not everything is accurate. Obviously, mpreg says it all but still somethings that may happen will be inaccurate.

"Luke...You were pregnant?" Ashton said
trying not to get mad.

"...I-"

"Luke! Why were you pregnant?! Did you really just- you know what I don't care! I don't care."

"Ashton. Listen to me. I can explain."

"Yeah sure, that's what everyone says."
Ashton said annoyed.

"No, really. I can remember the whole story surprisingly. Please let me explain."
Luke said weakly.

"I'll just let you two be." The doctor said awkwardly and left.

"Okay, what? What is there to explain? You basically cheated on me."

"Even if I did it on purpose, it shouldn't have mattered anyways because we're not together anymore."

"Shut up... Just tell me the story, truthfully."

"Okay. So, I was feeling genuinely really sad that day so I went out for a drink at the bar. I wasn't planning on getting drunk, but someone kept buying me drinks, and I couldn't just say no. So, i obviously got drunk and
I was sitting down somewhere in there trying to catch my breath and get it together before I drove back home. But then a guy, that seemed just a little older than me, yanked me by my hand and dragged me somewhere.
I don't know where it was, but I was trying so hard to get out of his grip, I tried yelling but he covered my mouth and threw me on the floor and wrapped a cloth around my mouth.
He pinned my arms and...Just did it." Luke sighed and looked away avoiding eye contact.

Ashton didn't say anything, he just grabbed Luke's hand and looked at him.

"I-I'm sorry." Was all Ashton could say.

"Don't be. Nothing was your fault. It was my fault for getting drunk in the first place."

"..."

"You should go home Ash. I don't want you worrying about me. I'll be fine, and I'll be out soon. I promise I'll call you when I get home."

"...okay."

"Thank you..."

"Bye."

"Bye." Luke said watching Ashton walk out of the room. He stared around the room and look at his arms. Needles. He followed the tube and watched every drop fall from the liquid pouch into a smaller tube.

Luke turned around when he heard the doctor come in. Luke just looked down and waited for the news.

"So, how's things go with the boy?"

"I told him the story and he believed me. I just wanted him to go back home, and not stress out about me."

"Was the story true? A man took advantage of you while you were drunk?"

"Yes."

"Oh. Well, um. We have some news, actually. I was wrong about the abortion. It seemed like when they took the fetus out, there was another one still in there. Still healthy, fortunately."

"What?" Luke looked up quickly.

"Well what I'm trying to say is that you had twins but one of them died. You are still pregnant."

"No....no. I can't be. This was never supposed to happen... I already got Ashton pregnant... I can't be pregnant myself."

"Ashton?"

"He was the boy that was here a few minutes ago."

"Oh, figured he was pregnant. Do you want an abortion? You seem like you don't want this baby."

"I don't....but...I don't want an abortion. Can adoption happen instead?"

"Sure, of course. It's your baby, your choice."

"Okay. Adoption it is." Luke decided.

Ashton had made it to the waiting room and walked out of the hospital with Harry.

"Sorry for making you run all the way over here, with me." Ashton said looking down.

"It's alright...So, what happened?"

"...well, he's okay now. But the doctor said he was pregnant but it died when he got in the accident."

"Pregnant? Was it yours or...."

"No, he was taken advantage of. I'm not sure if I believe him though."

"You never know, but I'm sure he wouldn't lie to you about a topic like that."

"That's true."

"So, thought of any names? For your little girl?"

"...I think I like Analia. I would call her Lia for short."

"That's a cute name. Where'd you get the idea of naming her that?"

"Luke told me about it actually."

"Oh, well he found a cute and unique name. I like it." Harry smiles.

"Yeah. I think I am going to name her that."

"That's great."
