After my bitch fit at Thanksgiving dinner, I locked myself in my bedroom. That's where I've been for the last two days. I've just sat in my room, texting Alaina about how I can't wait for this damn break to end. Then I remember what happened on the last day, and I don't want to go back to school either, actually.

I used to think I could be an actress, that I could hide my real feelings, but I can't. I'm not strong enough to just walk around and fool everyone. At least not like I used to be.

I feel so, so shitty for ruining the Fitzroy's dinner like that. I don't know what happened after I left, but I can bet you it wasn't a damn tea party.

Everybody has returned home now, except Zayn. He's come up to my door and knocked, but I just ask him to leave every time.

I get up from my bed, and sit down at the piano bench. I hit a couple of the keys, humming the words to a song I wrote years ago.

"When my world
Is falling apart
When there's no light
To break up the dark
That's when
I, I, I look at you," I sing, softly.

I stop playing and finally notice the tears falling down my cheeks. That concert feels like so long ago. That was one of the last concerts I felt truly happy performing. I was so, so happy that I had been adopted by the boys. I mean, I still love them more than anything in the world, I just wish things hadn't changed so much.

"Oh, shit!" A thick Irish accent cursed, a loud thud following.

I jumped, turning my head to the side to see Niall stumbling through my door, a screwdriver in his hands. My wooden door was now laying on the floor, invading the space of my room. I wiped the tears on my face.

"Whoops," Niall awkwardly chuckled, scratching the back of his neck.

I just look at him, a blank expression on my face, unamused.

"You know what I can't act like is normal?" Niall changes the tone of his voice. "That you tend to run away from your problems. You try to escape them instead of actually coming to a solution."

He picks my door up off the floor, and leans it in the door way, covering most of the space now.

"I'll fix that." He says, pointing a finger at the door.

I just sit, deciding not to say anything. My hands in my lap.

"Did you mean what you said?" He asks, walking over to stand in front of me.

I furrow my eyebrows together.

"Everything you said about everyone. About Louis, Adelaide and Elizabeth. Did you mean everything?" He clarified.

"Of course," I finally speak. "I wouldn't say it if I didn't meant it."

"People say things they don't mean all the time. I've done it myself." Niall sits down next to me.

"Well, I meant everything I said." I state in a firm voice.

Niall doesn't say anything, he just looks forward.
