Incoming call from: Louisiana

I pressed the green circle. I was currently trying to do homework at my desk, but I couldn't decline a call from Louis.

"Hello?" I answer, pressing the phone to my ear.

"I'm buzzing, oh, my God, I'm freaking out!" Louis shouted, frantically.

"Louis, what are you talking about?" I ask, confused.

"E-Eleanor! She's gone into labor!" Louis practically shouts.

"She's what?!" I almost drop my phone out of my hands.

HELLO WHAT? Who is Eleanor dating?

"We're at the hospital-"

"Louis, what the fuck?" I cut him off. "Why are you there?"

I'm overly aware of my roommates in the room, careful not to expose anything.

"Use your brain Tegan, why do you think?"

"Oh my God," is all I can say.

I slowly stand up from my swivel chair, then just lie on the carpet. Eleanor is in labor?

"I'm in the waiting room, but I couldn't stop bouncing around. I had to call you." Louis rambles.

"How long have you known?" I ask.

"A few months," he answers.

"A few months?"

"Don't be mad, things have not been easy. I have a girlfriend you know. Shits a storm. I don't know what to do."

"How are you holding up?"

"Isabel, her reaction wasn't as great." Louis sighs.

"Are you guys still together?"

"We're not speaking right now, she asked for some space, and I'm respectfully giving that to her."

"That's good, Louis. I'm sure you guys will figure things out though." I said, supportively.

Out of the corner of my eye I see my roommates giving me concerned looks.

"Oh, my God I'm going to be a dad! I think I'm sweating!" He sounds overjoyed and I wish I was there.

"How did you feel when she told you?"

"I was in shock. I saw the girl I was in love with right there."

"Awe," I smile. "I won't be mad if you guys get back together."

Louis chuckles, "someone miss Eleanor?"

"Of course I miss, Eleanor! I love her." I said, in a duh tone. "How's everyone else?"

"Harry's good, Elizabeth's pregnancy is going along smoothly, and they just found out the gender the other day." Louis informed me.
