Chapter 15

It's me again!!! How is everyone? :) Just wanted to let ya'll know that I got a new chapter and fixing the next one too. I know its been awhile since I last updated but here is your chapter 15 and don't worry I'm working on the next chapter of 16 as well so I'm getting better at this. After that day with the hunters my mind has been buzzing for hours, we still stayed in our animal forms thinking we can move faster this way better then two legs. Those hunters weren't animal friendly but except Andrew, he didn't look like that kind of person but I only been with him for a short time so I don't know, I'm confused myself. I feel really scaried at times that I would feel like a coward. That I wouldn't be able to fight back like I should but look at the things I had to protect, I took down a violent wolf that was out to kill so I was only protect myself and a human who of course probably hates me and will probalbly kill me but it is what it is. Still in the woods thinking it was best not to be seen in the cities, but no matter where we went we were going to be chased no matter where we go. I looked at Jessie walking infront of me, her being in her cat form, she thought it was best for her to lead and me cover the rear in case someone would have followed us. If I was human I would have mistake her as a pet house cat. If I ever told her everything I was thinking she would probably roll her eyes at me then get over it because she was awesome that way when it comes from friends or family but if it was someone else that insulted her she would have definitely would go smack down on someone. It made me have a smile on my face.
"Well someone looks like their in a good mood, which is very creepy specially when your staring at me for some odd reason" Jessie said looking at me over her shoulders with concern green cat eyes
"Sorry" I laughed " Just thinking about old times of what we did together"
"Really? Hmm..... "
" Now aren't you a little curious on what I'm talking about" I asked still smiling at her watching her very closely
"If it was about the time that you thought my tail was a snake then tried to snatch it with your mouth and paws then no..............and if you tell anyone I will ring your neck " said Jessie giving me an evil stare
" Oh no I wasn't talking about that" I laughed out loud " But that was freakin hilarious "
" It was funny wasn't it? " Jessie said with a smile
It got silenced for awhile when we were walking then I talked first before Jessie did.
" Remember in Elementary school that I wore blue overalls and had wavy red hair
" Yes, you were a new student " said Jessie
"Yep then group of girls ganged up on me because they thought I was weird and different and in that class I didn't talked to anyone " I said
"Yeah I remember, they poured orange juice on your head and laughed at you until I got pissed off and push one of girls to the ground " growled Jessie " They got what they deserved "
" I know then after that you and the girls got in trouble and we're sent to the principal's office " I continued " All the girls blamed you for attacking them first"
" I so badly wanted to tear their hairs out of their heads " she growled
" It's a good thing I went in there and explained everything to the principal " I said
" Yeah but I still got in trouble"
" True but you weren't going to take all the blame so me and you sat in the classroom alone so "I said while smiling
"But you weren't the one in trouble, I was "said Jessie
"Yes, it's very odd how our life was connected and then later I find out we were cousins, imagine that "
" Yes things happen what you least inspected" said Jessie
When we came to a big boulder Jessie leaped onto the rock and scouted the area, everything seem to be normal. It was still day light and the birds were singing and wind was blowing threw the trees. I scouted head of her to see what was beyond the hills, the more I came closer the more I heard a river up ahead.
" Jessie do you hear that? " I asked looking back to see if she heard me. When she walked toward me she jumped on my back and leaped up a tree above me to get a better view. She climbed so high until she got a view of a river.
" I see it, there seems to be a bridge we can get across on the other side" said Jessie
I signed thinking why me?
