"Cas? Cas, wake up. We need to drive home." I spoke softly. Cas shifted underneath me and released the strong grip he had on me. He yawned and stretched as I slid off of him onto the floor. I had to admit, it was a bit weird having an angel's grace.
"Home..." Cas muttered. He seemed to be thinking.
"Cas?" I asked.
"I am home. I am with you. We are home." He whispered, looking up to my face as he sat up. I smiled at the man, loving the words he just spoke.
"Cas..." Not knowing what to say, I let my voice trail off. I grab his hand, pulling him towards me. I engulf him in a hug, holding him tightly as he does the same. We sat there for a minute before my phone went off. We pulled away.
Hey, have you found Cas?
I immediatly texted Sam back, telling him that we were coming back.
"Cas, we have to go back to the bunker." I murmered.
"Alright. Are we okay to leave now?" Cas asked me that question, looking up at me.
"Yea, other than the car may not have much gas. But, we'll manage. Let's go home." I spoke softly, remembering the last time those words were said. As we were walking out the door and getting into the car, it was silent. It was silent until we were both in the car. It was silent as I didn't turn the engine on, sitting in the seat with my hands on the wheel.
"Hey Cas?" I spoke to get his attention. He made an inaudible grunt sound, so I continued talking. "Please don't go and do anything stupid, with or without me or the boys. I don't want to see you dead." Silence followed my words. I put the keys in the ignition, starting it. The engine reved as I put the car in drive. We drove away from Bobby's house, myself slightly sad. The drive was silent as Cas had fallen asleep as I drove, music playing softly out of the radio. Kansas came on, causing me to sing along slightly. I made sure not to wake Cas up as we got closer and closer to the bunker. Once we stopped for gas, Sam called.
"I take it you found Cas?" It seemed like an obvious question, but I answered anyway.
"Yea, we're on our way home now. It should be a few hours now." I answered.
"Okay. By the way, when you get back, Dean wants to put you in the panic room. The hellhounds should be here tomorrow. Dean wants you to be safe." Sam's words were staticy, but I could understand them no matter.
"Fine." I sighed. "Hey, I'll talk to you later. I want to get back to driving. Bye Sammo." I wait for him to respond before hanging up.
"Bye kid." He replies. I shut the phone off, getting in the car and going to the bunker.
-------
"Panic room. Now." Dean said as I walked in with Cas behind me.
"I'm going with her." Cas replied. I was going to comment, but Dean spoke before I could.
"We are all going. She's got to be safe." Dean says.
"Just let me kill it." I say. Dean looks at me as if I were crazy. "What? Sam did it!" I reason.
"Yea, but Sam is Sam." Dean replied.
"Fine."
-------
"Its been a few weeks since I killed the thing. Can you take your grace back Cas?" I asked the man in front of me.
"I can, but it will hurt."
"I don't care. What do I have to do?" I ask.
"I'll be cutting your neck open and bringing my grace back to my vessel. Please, don't freak out." He looks at me.
"I'll be fine. Here." I hand him my knife, dragging my shirt down a little. Cas took his grace back, and he healed me once after.
"Back to normal." Cas says.
"Or as normal as normal can be." I reply. I hug him gently before walking into the living room of our house. I flop onto the couch, turning the tv on in the process.
"Dr.Who- Not now. Sherlcok Holmes BBC- Not now. Naruto- Not now. The Muppets- Not now. Ughh, I don't want any of this."
-------
A few hours later, after Cas had cuddled with me all day, Cas had to go help Dean with something. When he was gone, I heard a wolf, or what I assumed was a wolf. I cared nothing of it until it was scratching at the front door.
"Oh no..." I backed away, not exactly knowing what to do. The door opened, revealing a large transparent dog like figure. "Ugh, Cas? I could use a little help." I spoke outwardly, hoping Cas could hear my call. Nothing happened, and the dog got closer. I could feel my heart pounding as the dog pounced. I could feel my clothes and skin being ripped open, my shrill screams filling the otherwise empty silence. I thought I got away from this, but aparently Crowley decided to wait me out. I could feel my lungs beginning to slow down, my breathing getting harder and harder. Asthma doesn't help in this situation. My vision was blurry, but I could have sworn I saw Morgan's figure beating at the dog on my body. I could hear her cries as my world slowly started to fade away into nothing. Here I was, cashing in my one way ticket to hell. See you soon, Crowley.A/N: Thanks to SunfurTheWolf for the amazing two sentences you did when you said you'd write the chapter. I do apreciate the tiny effort at the beginning of the chapter. -Max
