"We should be happy for her. She told us she didn't want to come back." Sam spoke up to the other two.
"It's going to be sad, never seeing her again. I guess she learned from the mistakes she made. She's finally gone." Dean replied, staring at the fire in front of him. Castiel remained silent, watching as the fire burned her body. The field was by her home, her childhood home. The boys were all very close to tears.
"I shouldn't have done the things I did to her. I can't apologize now. I'm too late, not that it would fix anything." Dean continued on. Castiel sat down on the ground, moving closer to the fire.
"Goodbye (Y/n). It was a pleasure to make your aquantance. I'll forever miss you, my darling love." Castiel whispered. Sam looked at him sympathetically before saying words himself to ease the tension.
"We'll miss you kid. I'll miss you. It was fun for the time it lasted. Be good to yourself." He stopped himself from continuing. Tears were running down Dean's face.
"I'm sorry kid sister. I'll miss you." He whispered. He would have sworn he heard her say it was okay, but he assumed he was just desperate to hear her voice. She was gone, dead, and she wasn't coming back no matter how much anyone wanted her to. It was over. The story book of her life was closed, and Morgan was going with her.
----------
Dean had fallen into another state of depression. Sam had left for a while to go on a hunt leaving him behind. He had held a gun in his hands multiple times, contemplating whether to pull it up to his head or not. He never did, but he would get closer and closer every time.
----------
Sam had gone on multiple hunts, trying to drown out his thoughts and feelings with the slaughtering of monsters. He became something nobody thought he would ever be. He became a ruthless killing machine, holding all his problems in.
----------
Castiel would visit Lila's heaven constantly. He couldn't bring himself to do anything else. He had become well aquanted with the small child, telling her stories about is life as an angel. Lila told him about her life, about the times she had seen her. Often in times Castiel would cry, and Lila would comfort him. She never grew up in heaven, but she got smarter and smarter as time went. Castiel felt that Lila was his way to calm down.
----------
The story of her life concluded as she died, loosing the game she was forced to play. She didn't think it would end that fast, but she knew well the life of a hunter. She knew if there was a monster tailing her and targeting her that she wouldn't have lasted much longer. So, she let go. Her memories flew by her mind as a final goodbye was uttered to the world. "I'm sorry.
