It was too hot out here in LA so I decided to go over to Nate's house since they had a pool.

I got ready and threw my hair up in a loose bun or whatever you want to call that.

I grabbed my bag from off the kitchen counter and walked out the door with my keys on my finger.

I opened my car door and walked up to their front door. I tried to knock but I'm guessing they can't hear with the loud ass music blasting out so loudly.

I pulled my shades down from the top of my head and looked up to see Derek standing on the balcony smiling at me.

"Hey baby. What's up" I rolled my eyes. I really don't want to deal with him today.

"Can we please not go through this. It's really hot and I just you to open the door for me."

"Are you getting an attitude with me?" Now he was just torturing me.

The door swung open to reveal Nate. "Hey" He nodded at me, leaning on the door.

"Thank God you're here. I was seriously ready to break in.

He let me in and went back to the backyard. I was following behind him when Derek came up blocking my way.

I sighed and stepped around him. "Okay look I'm sorry." He caught up to me and sat down with his feet in the pool while I got in.

Tez came out with a box in his hand. When I looked closer it was a box of Popsicles.

I sat up on the ledge and grabbed one for myself. I put it in my mouth and wasn't paying attention to anyone else.

"Do you like it" I shrugged. Wasn't really feeling the flavor.

"I can give you something else to suck on. You'll really like it" I scrunched up my face in disgust and got up getting as far away from him as I could.

I will be updating again soon but with the new books coming out Friday I'm trying to write as many chapters of those as I can.
