It's always cold when you're not here...

I had no idea how I was holding up at this point. Everything felt out to the ordinary.

I grew to like him so much, and after all we went through...

Every minute I was with him. I woke up and saw his deep brown eyes, I fell asleep in his arms and now I lay awake late at night waiting for my phone to go off.

Waiting for my phone to go off, waiting to hear a knock at my door.

I constantly checked my phone which prevented me from doing any actual work. I rested my hand on my cheeks and I felt small drops of water hit the palms of my hand.

I just wanted him back in my arms. It all happened so quickly and I wish I could hit rewind.

I closed the laptop and got up off the chair because I wanted to clear my mind.

La has been very rainy for the past 2 days and it hasn't made me feel any better. I was hoping for a sunny day so I could stop moping around.

I stepped out on the little balcony I had when I heard a loud knock at the front door. I pulled my sweater close to my body and the knock was repeated. When I looked over the railing I all I saw was a very wet man in a soaked hoodie and baggy sweats.

"Can I help you with something?" His head snapped up.

"What're you doing here?" I asked. Every word I said felt like a sharp kick in the stomach. My mind went blank as I saw the sorrow in his eyes.

"I'm sorry"

I held onto the cold, wet railing and listened to what he had to say.

"Can you open the door and listen to what I have to say?"

"Why should I have to listen to what you had to say when you never think about what I want. I do miss you like hell but you're the one that doesn't think he can settle down just yet. Should I let you go and fuck every girl you see and when you're ready to settle down I'm magically gonna forget any of that happened? You wasted my time and you don't know how much I cried over you"

"I know but I'm just afraid of what would happen. I'm afraid I would hurt you-"

"-Well you already did" I interrupted.

"Please. I'm dumb and I regret everything I said to you. I want to settle down and I want to be with you."

I walked back in and closes the door. I ran down the stairs and swung the front door open. I was immediately met with a wet hug and kiss.

"I'm so happy you forgave me" he said in between kisses.

I pushed him away, "you have to earn your forgiveness" he smiled and wrapped his arms around me.

"I'll do anything just to be with you"

I missed doing Omaha preferences so I decided to throw some in here...
