Taylor's POV
"Natasha's been in there for a long time." I say breaking the silence that filled the small waiting room for way too long.
"I know I feel like it's my fault. I could've caught her. Or at least made an attempt to." Laura said while staring at the plain white wall. I could see the sadness in her eyes.
"Laura–" I started but was cut off by the stupid officer or guard or whatever he is. Why is he still here?
"No it's not you're fault. There was no way you were gonna get to her. You were distracted. I distracted you. And I'm sorry." He spoke in his annoying voice that I've grown to dislike.
"Don't worry Kevin." Laura put a hand on his shoulder and comforted him. I do not approve. They are way too touchy for my liking. I was fuming. Yael pulled me out of my seat and lead me away from Laura and whatshisface.
"Relax Taylor you know how Laura is. She's just being nice." Yael said in her soothing Australian accent.
"Yeah but look at him. He's soaking it all up. He doesn't deserve her sympathy. I bet he doesn't even feel bad for Tash he's just here for Laura." I said angrily.
Yael had a huge smirk on her face. "Sweetheart, it sounds like you've caught a bad case of jealousy."
"No, I just don't appreciate the fact that he's sitting here practically drooling over my girl like that." I replied bitterly.
"If your main concern is somebody drooling over your "girl" then, you have another thing coming."
"What's that supposed to mean." I rose an eyebrow.
"It means that your girl is sort of like a sex symbol as Natasha would say. She has millions of people already drooling over her all over the world. Have you forgotten who she is?" She laughed.
I just shrugged. I was too angry to laugh but Yael is right. She's Laura Prepon who wouldn't drool over her. I just stood there watching Laura and that guy, to make sure he doesn't try anything. After minutes of trying to kill Caleb with my eyes a doctor finally came out.
"Um... Are you guys here for Natasha lyonne?"
"Yes. Yes we are." I said eagerly.
"Okay I have really good news and some bad news." He said as Laura and that guy rushed over to us.
"What happened?" Laura asks.
"The bad news is, she fractured her right wrist and has a broken right leg. She's in a lot of pain in other places too but it's nothing that she can't overcome. Would you all like to see her now?"
"Yes." We all answered.
We followed the doctor as he led us through the hallways.
"You never told us the good news." Calvin said with his annoying voice. Or is his name Keith?
"Oh yeah. Well the good news is that your friend is up and being her usual self and she should be released soon. I must say, she's quite the character." The doctor replied.
