(Taylor's POV)
So when I first got to the place Laura was already pretty drunk and now she's only gotten worst. She stumbled around the dance floor moving wildly but somehow the rapid movements still looked cool. I felt like I had to protect Laura so I didn't drink very much. When she was done dancing I followed her to a little seating area. She sat and I sat across from her."You having fun champ?" I said while laughing lightly.
"What the....? Taylor is that you? When did you get here?" Laura asks.
"You must really be drunk Laura. I'm taking you home."
"What I'm not drunk. Your drunk!" Laura's words were slurred.
"Come on Laura don't fight it."
I got up and helped her to the car. She slumped into the back seat. I had to nearly carry Laura into the house. I led her into the bedroom and tucked her in.
"Wait... Piper stay here." She said with her eyes closed.
"Did you really just call me Piper? You're really fucking wasted." I say as I lay beside her. She puts her arm around me and snuggle her face into the crook of my neck. I run my fingers through her hair until she falls asleep. I like how this feels. I could definitely get used to this.
I woke up before Laura. I knew she would have a hangover so I left painkillers and a glass of water on the dresser next to her. I went downstairs and made breakfast. While I was cooking I heard noise and I turned to see that it was Laura stumbling out of the room.
"Good morning." I say cheerfully
"More like Bad morning." She said with her amazingly sexy raspy morning voice.
"How are you feeling."
"Horrible."
"Did you take the pills I left for you?"
"Yeah. Can you tell what the hell happened last night."
"You got hammered."
"Why didn't you stop me." She chuckled.
"I would've but I got there too late."
"My whole body hurts. Did I get into a fight?"
"No but you danced around like a maniac and you were so drunk that you called me Piper." We both laughed loudly.
"Really? I called you Piper?"
I shook my head.
"I'm sorry." Laura apologized
"It was really funny." I giggled " Here's breakfast." I say as I hand her a plate with pancakes, eggs, and French toast.
"Thank you babe."
A huge smile crept upon my face. I love when Laura calls me babe.
"Your welcome."
She massaged her temples as she ate. She finished eating then she pushed the plate away from her and put her head down.
"I'm never drinking again." Laura states
"Yeah that's what they all say."
"I feel like my head is going to explode. Taylor......I think I'm dying."
"Shut up your not dying." I say trying to muffle my laughs.
"Well it sure feels like it. I probably just need to sleep it off."
"Yeah let's go do that."
I helped Laura up and led her into the bedroom. We got under the covers and fell asleep next to each other. We slept until midday. I turned to see Laura staring at the staring at the ceiling.
"How are you feeling?" I ask.
"Better."
"That's great."
Laura turned to face me and her amazing emerald eyes looked into mine.
"Thank you for looking out for me last night I really appreciate it."
"No problem I'll always have your back no matter what."
"And I'll always have yours." Laura replied.
She smiled and I smiled back. I had to fight the urge to kiss her once again. I furrowed my eyebrows.
"What's wrong?" Laura asks
"Nothing's wrong." I say as I put on a fake smile.
Should I tell her? Wait, no it'll be too soon. But what if I wait too late and she finds someone else? What if it's already too late? Never mind that's impossible Laura said she wasn't dating anyone and she wasn't planning on dating anyone anything soon. So does that mean I don't have a chance? I'm stuck at a crossroads.
