Don't you ever hate that feeling that you know something bad is gonna happen, but you can't pinpoint what that is exactly. Like it could cause heartache to someone else, but you know it'll hurt if you lie. That's how Ezra is feeling right now. She didn't know if she should tell Luke about her father, but she felt as if she didn't it'll hurt Luke more than if she did. She could sense Luke had felt something, whether it was brotherly or romantically.

Her bruise was becoming noticeable as the day went on and when people asked, she lied and said she'd fallen. People laughed and walked away talking about how clumsy she was. It was another thing they could add to the list of flaws. She was surprised word hadn't gotten to Jason yet. She was expecting him to push her into a locker considering Luke isn't here to protect her.

She was sitting in her history class waiting to leave school. The teasing never stopped and she couldn't take it anymore. The urge to cut and cry was becoming too much for her to deal with and all she wanted to do was disappear. Disappear from her father, Jason, and maybe even Luke.

Kyle noticed his friend staring at her notebook, not moving. He could hear the whispers of people making fun of her and the teacher wasn't doing anything about it, but he knew that already. He'd seen his friend like this before and that was the first time she'd cut. She was broken because Jason had pushed her so far and he was doing just that again.

He didn't know what to do though. Kyle was stuck just as much as Ezra was. He didn't know the extent on what had happened with Ezra and her father other than he'd hit her. Nothing besides that. He didn't know whether he should ask her, but it might just trigger her even more.

"Ezra, what happened in 1931?" The teacher had asked, unaware of what state she was in. He'd turned his attention from the board to her. "Ezra!" She jumped a bit in her seat and looked at the teacher. "Were you daydreaming in my class?" He asked her.

"No s-sir." She stuttered, shrinking in her seat when people started laughing at her. Kyle couldn't help but pity her. She didn't want to be the center of attention. He watched as she grabbed her stuff and ran out of the classroom, Kyle following behind her.

Ezra ran into the girls bathroom and right into a stall, locking the door behind her. She slid down the wall, bringing her knees into her chest. Tears left her dark gray eyes as the pain settle in. No matter how hard she tried she couldn't be as strong as everyone wanted her to be.

Kyle barged in not caring who was in here. He needed to help his best friend and didn't care if he got suspended. "Ezra? It's Kyle. If you come out of the stall, I will take you somewhere other then here okay? We can leave school and go somewhere, but I need you to come out of there before you do something you'll regret." Kyle said, against the stall where Ezra was.

She hesitantly opened the door and ran into Kyle's arms. He wrapped his arms around her, afraid that she'd disappeared. "I just c-can't be hear anymore." She cried. She couldn't go home in fear of her father, but she had no where else to stay. Her mother was absent from her life and she couldn't bother Kyle with something like this.

"Come on. We'll go somewhere else alright." He said, pulling away to look her in the eyes. She nodded and the two exited the bathroom and headed towards the car lot.

When the two arrived, Ezra was asleep in the passenger seat. Kyle parked in the back lot and walked to the front to ask for assistance. "Hey, how can I help you today?"

"Yeah, is Luke here?" Kyle asked the tall man. Michael walked to the back only to see Luke working on  a customer. "He's in the middle of a tattoo? Can I help?"

"It's Ezra. She's in a pretty bad shape and I was wondering if Luke was available to talk to her. Just-she trusts him and talks to him. Probably more than me, but I- I just can't see her like this." Kyle said, running a hand through his hair.

"There's a room in the back you two can wait in until Luke is done with his client. Just take me to her." Michael smiled and gestured for him to lead the way. Michael watched as Kyle walked further then him and couldn't help, but admire him from behind. He had to admit that he had a fine ass, but he shook his head and dismissed the thought.

When the two got to the car, Michael helped Kyle get Ezra out of the car and into the back room. They laid her on the couch as she slept her heartache away. "Hey what's going on?" The blonde said walking into the backroom as well. His heart jumped when he saw his crush on the couch.

"She's- something happened and she's going back to that place. I didn't know what else to do, but bring her here." Kyle told Luke. Luke walked over to Ezra and knelled down to her level and brushed her hair out of her face. He admired how she looked in her sleep and couldn't help, but like her even more than before.

"I'm gonna make it all better butterfly. I promise you, no one is ever going to hurt you again. Not even yourself."

Wow this was shit and late as usual. This is unedited just so you know.

I've been busy with work and haven't had time or inspiration. And I've been binge watching the Fosters. If anyone watches, please tell me why Matt (Mariana's ex-boyfriend) looks like Calum Hood.

Anyway's leave a comment and feedback about what you think will happen next chapter.
