Sloan's P.O.V:

They are keeping Cayson and I in the basement. The house we are at is of Zeke's uncle. Zeke's brother, two uncles, and dad are here. Some of Adam's guys are here also. I hope my secret message has gotten through to my God dad and that he understands what it ment. Luckily Zeke was the only one in the room when I made the call. He is to stupid to figure out what I meant.

He is still the only one in the room with my son and I. He says, " You know none of this would have fucking happened if you would have just stayed with me instead of trying to go back with that bitch. You and I could have gotten married and when Mark died I would have become a mafia boss. I would have trained Cayson with Mark to take over after I died. However you had to ruin my family plans for the bitch. We could have had a good life Sloan."

" I wouldn't have been happy though."

" Yeah but your kids would have been safe. Just so you know though we don't plan on killing Cayson. After we kill Mark you will have a choice. You can live with me and we can raise the kids together or we can kill you and never let Cayson know his sister. We don't want Emerson but if you will become my wife then I will take her in."

" That will never happen. You see I'm not stupid. I have a will leaving my kids to Gracen. So even if you kill me she will hunt you down to get Cayson from you."

" Oh and she will only get him over my dead body. Cayson is not getting raised around cops no matter what."

He slaps me and Cayson starts crying. He picks Cayson up and says, " Don't cry son daddy is right here. Daddy is going to raise you right."

We hear an explosion up stairs. " Take ny son and protect him while I go and see what is going on."

I take my son and hold on to hin for dear life. Zeke runs upstairs and I start hearing gun shoots. I shield Cayson with my body so he doesn't get hurt. There is so much gun fire that it is scary. I hear the fight coming down stairs.

I hear Zeke right behind me. He says, " If you come closer I will kill her."

" Don't be hasty Zeke."

I know that voice. It is one of my God dad's men. Zeke shots me and I fell the bullet go through me. The two last things I hear before I pass out are more gun fire and Cayson crying in pain. A tear drop rolls down my face and then I pass out.
