Okay, I did not mean to get paint on Percy's nose, I swear.
(About five minutes ago)
"Hey Percy," where'd you put the glue, I ask washing off my paint brush. He looks up and shrugs. "I dunno."
I dip my brush in the white paint and turn around to look to the glue. "ANNABETH!" Percy yells. I turn around and find that Percy's nose is now covered in white paint. "Oops?" I say with a small smile.(Present time)
And so that's how the paint war started. After I flicked paint at Percy he got me back by painting my cheek blue. By now, we were both covered in splatters of all different colours. Percy laughed as he flung a bowl of green paint at me. "Noooo!" I shouted before throwing my arm up to protect me. Unfortunately I still managed to get coated in paint. "Oh that's it your dead!" I exclaim and grab a large can of blue paint. Percy eyes widen as he scrambled to his feet and lunges towards the bedroom door. I laugh and chase him down the hall and around the house until we end up back in his room. "Okay, okay I surrender!" He yells, collapsing on his bedroom floor. I smirk and pour the blue paint right on top of his head. Percy just laughs and lunges towards me, wrapping his arms around me. Normally, I would've been embarrassed by this, but not when I know that he's just trying to cover me in paint. He pulls away, a look of triumph of his face and we both burst into laughter. Then we look at his room. Everything, and I mean everything is covered in paint. "My mom's going to kill us," Percy said with a nervous laugh. Then he shrugged as if to say oh well, a mischievous smirk on his face. I smiled and resisted the urge to kiss him right there and then. I wanted to but I couldn't. He had a girlfriend and I couldn't shove myself between them no matter how much I wanted to. So, instead I offered to help him clean up because I mean, let's face it, life's not a fairytale.

"Percy I need to go," I say for the four millionth time. "Okay, okay but can't you just stay a little bit longer?" He pleaded staring at me, his sea green eyes as wide as a baby seals. I cross my arms. After we'd finished cleaning up, Percy suggested we play video games, so for the last three hours we'd say on the couch playing intense rounds of Mario Cart. However, when it started raining, I checked the time and realized it was almost six, and that I should probably be getting home soon. Unfortunately Percy didn't seem to want me to leave. I mean, don't get me wrong, any other day, I would've loved to stay, but unfortunately Susan had me working the late shift tonight. Still, Percy kept asking. "Just another hour?" "Percy I'll be late for work!" "But we haven't beat the level yet!" He whined. "Percy you said that five levels ago," I argued. "It's raining outside!" He exclaimed. "So?" Just as I said this thunder boomed and the sky flashed with lightning. "You can't go out there!" He said his eyes wide. I roll my eyes and reach for the door. Percy step in front me and starts doing the unexpected. He starts singing "Baby it's cold outside,", replacing all the baby's with Annie's and all the cold's with thunderstorming's. I bit back a laugh as he jumps onto the couch and continues to sing. I roll my eyes, finally giving in. "Fine, but only one more level," I say sternly. Percy smiles a boyish smile, and hands a controller to me. I sigh and sit back down. 'Oh boy, what have I done?' I think as we begin yet another round of this stupid Mario Cart.A/N: I apologize for how terribly written this chapter was. I'm in a bit of a writers block but I needed to update again I'm so sorry for the mhorribleness of this chapter. Sorry...again
