“We are ranked, by how strong we are.” Carolina said her blue eyes looking up to me.

“I am as you can see 153 I am close to the top 100.” Lily said with a smirk.

“You’re getting weak.” Alex told Lily serious. You shouldn’t have come back the way you did.” Alex said looking at her with a clam expression.

Carolina giggled.”She was too busy trying to look cool, to notice it coming behind her.” She said giggling more.

“Shut up.” Lily said glaring at Carolina.

“You both need to come by and get back into shape.” Alex said firmly.

“Well, now is a good time. We were going to show Irene the place anyways.” Lily said looking back at me.

Alex looked at me, his golden eyes searching for something. He simply nodded his head looking at Carolina and Lily. “She still hasn’t hit me yet.” He said smirking at me.

“We also need to go to show her the basics.” Alex said looking into the trees.

“Yep let’s go then.” Lily said walking in front. Carolina gave me a small smile before following her. I walked behind them, seeing them taking in deep breaths. They were enjoying every moment, every breath, and every gust of wind.

“Is there anything you want to talk about?” Alex asked. I looked away from Carolina and Lily.

“What do you mean?” I asked him, his golden eyes were filled with concern.

“Dreams, emotions, anything.” Alex said running a hand through his black hair.

“No I’m good?” I didn’t know if I should tell him about the dream. Who knows what he’ll say.

“Alright.” Alex said. We walked in silence. I didn’t care that I had no shoes on and I was surprised neither did Carolina and Lily. We walked in the woods for what seemed a long time. I wondered why they didn’t just fly there. It would have been quicker.

We emerged from the tress and into a big town. There was one huge building on the other side of the town. I kept seeing people walk by happy and so carefree that it scared me a little.

I bumped into someone or a wall. I would have thought that if I didn’t look up to see a guy. Wow, he is handsome. He had black hair almost blue. It looked a bit messy but it looked hot. His green eyes meet mine I felt my heart beat like no tomorrow. He had a mysterious and dark look and aroma. He was wearing black jeans and a black shirt. Making his eyes pop more.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Lily and Carolina’s eyes widen, almost in fear.

“Sorry, I didn’t look were I was going.” I said looking up to see his face almost soften. He didn’t say anything or move from the close proximity.

I was drastically pulled away, Lily giving him a small smile. I could still feel my heart beating furiously while we walked away. I looked behind me to see him looking at me. I turned back quickly, and regretted it, knowing it was girl like.

“Who was that?” I asked Lily and Carolina. We were still trying to catch up to Alex who didn’t even stop. I couldn’t help but look around to see so much stuff alike, from where I lived. There were some shops and many people walking around.

“Sir, Alistair.” Lily said.

“Sir?” I asked.

“Yes, that’s what we call them when we talk to them, or Madam.” Carolina said fidgeting with her hair.

“Them?” I asked.

“Revonkary.” Carolina said again. I remembered a few minutes ago Lily told me about them. They are supposed to be the most talented here and they are who fight battles and go on missions. No wonder they were a bit scared.

“Oh.” Was all I said. We caught up with Alex, and he looked back at us and smiled.

“Then what is Alex?” I asked them.

“He is a teacher, and well he the same or more powerful than the Revonkary.” Lily told me.

We waked up towards the building and I have to admit it is fancy. There was a huge glass door, which Alex opened. I passed him and spotted almost everything white. The things that weren’t white were glass. It was really bright, that I covered my eyes. There was no furniture just white title and three hallways. Alex went through the middle one and we followed along.

We stopped at a metal door, which Alex had the key to open. Lily and Carolina gave each other a nervous glance and he opened it.

“Don’t be intimidated, by what you are going to see, and don’t let if freak you. They feed on that when there is a new comer.” Alex said opening the door for us.

“Shut it, Alex. They won’t be able to scare her.” Carolina said but she clearly doubts it. She was trying to comfort her self by saying it out loud.

I walked in to see many people, fighting with knifes. I saw some didn’t even look my way. Carolina smiled at some who called her name. Lily had the tuff look on, which I wasn’t surprised.

“So this is the girl you are looking after.” I heard and we all turned around to see a girl. She had a white coat with white pants. Her brown short hair was spiked up, and she had mud brown eyes. She looked at us smugly.

“Naomi.” Lily said her face emotionless. “How have you been?” lily asked but it sounded like she didn’t care.

“Great, as you can see.” Naomi said smiling white teeth at us.

“Huh.” Lily let out. “Sure.”

“What is that suppose to mean?!” Naomi snapped.

I could feel some people turn around to look at us. “Nothing.” Lily said clam, like Lily was the grown up and Naomi was the child.

I heard some cruse words come out from Naomi before Alex covered her mouth with his hand. He didn’t look one bit surprised.

“Irene follow me, we are going to test something before we start.” Alex said giving me a small smile.

“Okay.” I said looking at Lily and Carolina. I saw as they were looking around, wanting to start.

I followed Alex all the way to the back wall which took a while. He leaned on the wall then slid down it. I looked down at him wondering what we were going to do. He patted the spot next to him and I sat down next to him.

“Give me your hand.” He held out his hand to take mine. I let him see it and he flipped it palm up. He looked at it intensely.

“War, fighting, blood, how do you feel about that?” He asked me still holding my hand.

“I don’t like wars, well I wouldn’t kill someone because I am not who decides who dies and who doesn’t. If I ever have to fight I would fight for those I love, but I would never be the one that starts the war. Blood wouldn’t shed if people didn’t allow it.” I said it without thinking. I couldn’t help but stop my self from saying all that.

“Interesting.” Alex said his golden eyes looking into mine.

“There is something really special about you, Irene.” He said. His hand was still holding mine and he finally realized and let go. Could he have made me spill all that out? I never realized myself what I thought about wars, fighting, and blood. I just know it something I would avoid if I could.
