Chapter 1

I wait in my class, for the other students. The bell rings, and I smile. They all sit where they want to.
"I'm Mrs. Gonzalez. A teacher, of Philosophy, history, and English. So, I most likely will see some of you guys later...I'll tell you a bit about me. I'm 30- Something years old." I start.
The kids start laughing. "I have 4 daughters, two sets of twins. And, I went to college, at Stony Brook University, then switched to New Orleans University, and lived there for a couple of years, with my daughters. Met the love of my life, and moved up here, where I'm still going to Stonybrook University to get my PHD to become a professor... So, I guess I really like teaching." I quickly sum it up.
All the girls went, "Awe!" I smile, thinking of Akila.
"So, I'll do attendance, then we could do our activity."

"Sarah Aloe?"
"Here!" The brown haired girl says, raising her hand.
"Nicole Brown?"
"Hereee!" Nicole sang. She had dirty blonde hair, with shaved sides.
"Tykeil Delgado?"
"I'm right here." He says, walking in smoothly. He had no care. He's going to be problem this year! "By any chance, is your father, Tyshawn Delgado?" I ask. He had the same eyes as him, he's just a bit darker than him.
"Yeah, you know him?" He ask, having sudden interest. I nod, "tell him, Angela said hi."
We went on with the attendance. "Alright, so how many people love reading?" I ask. Only two hands go up to the sky. I put my hand in the air too.
"Only us? Damn! Alright, well I want you all to write the title of three books, that y'all want to read, on the piece of paper on your desk. I'll give y'all 5 minutes." I tell them. I sit at my desk, and put on the timer.
"Sam I Am, my boy!" Tykeil exclaims, writing down. Everyone starts laughing.

As the bell rang, they gave the papers to me. I put them all on the desk. I begin to count them.

"He really put Sam I am." I laugh to myself. I read the ones following the book.

At home, the girls quickly scattered to their rooms to get dressed. I go upstairs, and change into red shorts, and a shirt that says "I ❤ Akila." I quickly put on some Jordans, and walk to the kitchen.
"Mom! Hurry up! Mom's about to have her match!" The girls kept saying. We were all dressed alike. If Akila wins this match, she'll win the championship.
We drive all the way to her job, and sit in the first row. We make it just in time for her second round.

The referee lifts up Akila's hand. We all start screaming! Yes!

"Yes Mom!" Valerie screams.

"Hey mister, that's my mom!" Anastasia tells a random stranger. We all celebrate, until I look at the 'Stranger.'

I know I said, every Friday. But, the first 2 chapters will come faster than that.
I want the readers to get familiar with Angela's life, in the story. So, yes it might seem boring, as of now. So, that is the reason these two came out in the same week.
