Jade's p.o.v.
The next morning after we were able to come home was December 20, four days until Christmas Eve. I haven't bought any Christmas presents, nothing. At all. And I feel terrible about it.

So, after I'd fed Jake and Amber, I took Jake back to the nursery and went to get Amber dressed. I gently changed her out of her sleeping clothes, which was kind of difficult because she kept wiggling around. She whined before she said, "J-Jake?" I smiled and said, "Yes, he's ok." She was probably worried about him even though she saw me put him in the other room.

I was lucky to leave the day after Jacob was born... Most moms aren't able to. Even though we had a bunch of crap planned on the 18th, they all understood. I mean seriously, we rescheduled it. After Amber was in a dark blue shirt and blue jeans, she pointed to which shoes she wanted to wear, which were her black converse. They were so tiny, but in a good way.

Before you say anything, I didn't force her to get them. She kinda just pointed to them and bam! Now she love them. Anyway, after I'd gotten Lulu dressed, I headed into the bedroom. Gerard was still asleep with his face smushed against the pillow. I smirked and went on with the process of getting dressed. I'd set Amber on the bed next to Gerard and just as I was finishing getting dressed (a.k.a. My combat boots), I heard him yelp.

I turned in confusion to see him holding his face with one hand while staring in shock at Amber with his jaw dropped. Amber smiled innocently before she smacked him again. I laughed, both at Gee's expression and what Amber did. "Cmon Amber, that's not nice. Funny, but not nice." Gerard turned to glare playfully and said, "Um, hello?!"

I smirked, "Hi." He pouted and I sat next to him, pulling Amber in my lap. "Awww, did I hurt Gee Gee's feelings?" He gave a funny look before shaking his head slowly. "No... Don't do that." I laughed, knowing what he was talking about. "Alright, well... We're gonna go get some stuff. We'll be back in a little while," I told him, leaning down and pecking his lips.

He stared in confusion, "Wait what?" I sighed with a smile, "Lulu and I are gonna go get some... Stuff. We'll be back in a little while. You and Jake can handle being home alone, right?" He nodded, sitting up to try and be more awake. "Just do me one favor," he said to me. I waited for him to continue. "Both of you smile for me," he finished with a cheesy grin.

I shook my head slowly, "Gerard Way, you sure are something. No promises on my half though." He turned to Amber, "Will you smile for me?" She nodded excitedly, "Uh huh!" That alone brought smiles to both of our faces. "Alright, we're really leaving this time," I said and leaned down to hug him. "Alright, be careful girls." I smirked but Amber says, "Ok Daddy." I felt my eyes widen, and when I looked back at Gerard he had the same look.

I smiled through the shock at the both of them. "Ok seriously though, were actually leaving this time," I laughed, standing. I pulled Amber into my arms and balanced her on my hip. "Are you and Jake gonna be ok?" Gerard nodded happily, "Yeah, of course!"

We got back 2 and a half hours later. On the bright side, I finished my Christmas shopping for everyone, including Jacob, Kayley, and Skarlette. On the down side, I was exhausted, had to get Amber cleaned up, and make dinner. Ugh. Hopefully, Gerard can make dinner while I hide the presents and get Lulu changed. Hmmm.....

"We're home!" I yelled, but wasn't really a loud one. I heard a muffled response from upstairs and then the sound of someone coming downstairs. I turned and flashed a bright grin, "Hey." Gerard rolled his eyes playfully and smirked, "Hi." He leaned down to kiss me before he took a very tired Amber from my arms. "Do you mind making dinner so I can get her cleaned up and put her down for a nap or something?"

He shook his head, handing her back to me, "No, of course not. I'll get started straight away." He gave a salute and marched off into the kitchen while I laughed my ass off. I lugged all my bags upstairs and kept Amber safely balanced in my arms. It was a little difficult, but I got it and I didn't drop her.
