Natsu's POV
Three months ago, Lucy Heartfilia showed up at the Fairytail guild, after being pronounced dead, five years prior. She had a vengeance and was out for the blood of her former guild members. Disguising herself and going by the name of Vivian, she and her companion, Aspen, infiltrated the guild. However, when I challenged her to a fight, she lost her composure, revealing her true identity and a new power. Everyone in the guild is still weary about the Celestial Mage, but most things have returned to normal. The only question is, where is Lucy now?
"Hey Flamebrain! What are you drooling over?!" Gray shouted.
"Just how I'm gonna kick your butt, Ice Princess!" I shot back.
A flash of silver light engulfed the guild.
"Will you two ever learn?" A hate filled voice spat.
"L-Lucy? Your'e back?" I sputtered, looking at the Celestial Mage who had perched herself on one of the guild tables.
She ignored me, looking around the hall.
The guild doors opened and someone looking almost identical to Gray, walked in. He spotted Lucy and sighed.
"You just couldn't use the door like a normal person, could you?" He asked, in an exhausted tone.
"But I'm not a normal person." She stated, smiling.
The Gray lookalike walked over to Lucy and poked her cheek.
"How am I supposed to keep an eye on you if you just teleport anywhere you want to go?" He chided.
"Awe Griffon, you're no fun." Lucy pouted.
The color drained from Gray's face.
"G-G-Gr..." Was all he could manage.
The Gray lookalike, dressed in a tailcoat, looked over his shoulder at a stammering Gray.
"Oh." He said, as if just now noticing him.
He turned to the guild and bowed.
"Griffon Fullbuster, at your service, although you all previously knew me as Aspen the butler. I suppose I'm not much different than a butler however. I'm Lucy's handler actually, but she makes me wear this silly coat, so I might as well be her servant." He explained.
Shocked looks and surprised whispers flew around the guild.
"Did he say 'Fullbuster'?"
"That's Aspen?"
"Lucy has a handler?"
"Just how powerful is she?"
"How strong is he?"
"Can he really be related to Gray?"Griffon walked over to Gray.
"It's been along time, brother." Griffon said.
He opened his arms and hugged a very surprised Gray.
"I thought I would never see you again." Gray whispered.
"Griffon, we have a reason for being here. Don't get sidetracked." Lucy warned.
"Yes milady." Griffon said, braking the brotherly hug and bowing to Lucy.
"Is the Master here?" Lucy asked Mira, over her shoulder.
"What do you want with Gramps?!" I yelled.
Lucy shot me a hateful glance.
"Shut it, Dragneel." She spat.
Lucy jumped off the table she was sitting on, and walked over to me, her long blonde braid swinging behind her, reaching the back of her knees. She stopped abruptly when Griffon cleared his throat.
"Like you told me earlier, we have a reason for being here. We must carry out our task, even if it means leaving a few pests alive." Griffon stated, giving me a disapproving once over.
"You're right, thank you for keeping me on track. My time is too valuable to be waisted on the likes of these low level wizards." She said, turning on her heel and walking back towards Griffon.
"I bet you couldn't beat Erza or Mira!" I shouted, without thinking.
Once more, Lucy stopped walking. She turned slowly, a devilish grin, spreading on her face.
"Let's test your theory. Any objections Griffon?" She asked from over her shoulder, never breaking eye contact with me.
Griffon stayed silent.
"Very well then. Let's fight."
