Lucy's POV

I instantly regained my strength as the warm glow of the castle tower enveloped me. Griffon and I had been the last to pass through the portal, and I was glad to see that the preparations for our guests' arrival had been finished. One by one, magic canceling cuffs and limiters were being fastened onto each wizard, before blindfolds covered their sight.

"Oye! What's the meaning of this?!" Natsu cried.

"What gives?!" Gajeel yelled.

"Release me at once!" Demanded Erza.

"Please stop struggling. You're only making it harder for everyone here." I tried to explain.

"You asked us to trust you, and then you go and capture us?!" Explain yourself Lucy! What gives you the right to do this to us?!" Gray shouted.

"You want me to explain myself?" I whispered.

"You want to know why? You're asking me what right I have?" I asked, getting more upset.

The ground began to shake.

"What right do I have?!" I screamed.

I lost it.

"I'm here, trying to save the guild who didn't care when I was down in the dumps. I'm trying to save the people who I thought were my friends. For goodness sake! I'm trying to save the life of the sorry jerk who got us into this mess in the first place! What right do I have?! Do you really want to know, Gray Fullbuster?! Think long and hard about it. You should know where we are. After all, I did tell you two years ago!"

I could see the confusion in everyone's faces, even under the blindfolds.

"Take a deep breath Lucy. Calm down before you do something rash."

Griffon's voice was the only thing that could appease me.

"You will be taken to your rooms now. There, your blindfolds will be removed, but you will still be required to wear your limiters. You will be fetched for dinner." Griffon said, taking over the situation.

Some of the maids that had helped control everyone upon their arrival, began leading them down the stairs of the East Tower. Gray was the last one left.

When nudged by the maid, he hardened himself.

"I'm not going anywhere." He grumbled.

An exhausted sigh escaped my lips as I took a step towards him.

"Listen Gray. Odds are, you will remember our conversation from two years ago. You will figure out where we are. You will remember what I am. You will want to tell the others. When that time comes, you must not. Everything will become clear to you, but be advised. You will be watched, and you will not be allowed to tell the others. You will not be able to drop any hints. You will not be able to give them any inclination of your knowledge. If you break any of these rules, I will punish you, and everyone here. I may have taken a step forward in forgiving some of the guild, but that doesn't change one simple fact."

I leaned in and whispered into his ear. Although his eyes were covered by the blindfold, I could still tell that they had dilated with shock.

"Lucy, I -"

Before he had a chance to say anything else, I teleported him to his room where the other guys would be staying.

"Lucy? Are you okay?" Griffon asked, walking towards me.

His figure became fuzzy. I saw his eyes grow large before he tipped sideways.

Then my world went black.
