Chapter 9 - I love You Too

You put a cool wettened rag on Sollux's forehead and a blanket over him. He hadn't woken up in 2 days since the incident and it worried you.
"Y/n..." you heard a voice murmur.
"S-sollux?" You asked the boy. His eyes slowly fluttered open and looked at you.
"I...I love you, too...y/n.." he smiled. You smiled and hugged him.
"I'm so glad you're okay..." you choked out.
"I'm sorry...y/n...I did it again..." he said, frowning, " I almost killed someone else i love...again..."
"You dont need to be sad...Aradia will regenerate...somehow....she did last time..."
"But I almost killed you. I wouldn't be able to live with myself....when I saw you at the café, I immediately liked you. KK told me I should talk to you...so I did. I didn't want to tell you I killed Aradia yet...I just didn't want to scare you away...I thought I'd never get a chance with you...then I heard you say you loved me in the forest and...it brought me back...I'm sorry...I want to protect you forever."
"You're too sweet." You kissed his cheek and walked into the kitchen to fix the boy some food. "Do you want me to fix you a sandwich, honey?"
"Would you?" He asked kindly.
"Mustard or mayo?" You smiled.
