"Don't you think it's ironic how you and ash miss the same day? Especially when we had that very important test yesterday." Grace says to me.

"What does Ash missing a day of school have to do with me missing too?" I ask her.

"Well nothing, possibly. I'm just saying he's been trying to get with you lately I just thought maybe." She said shrugging her shoulders.

"Do you think after what he's done to me I'd just fall at his feet over his hotness?" I roll my eyes

So what if him missing does have to do with me missing too. I just find it disgusting to think that she'd think that I would actually hook up with him. I mean I've said this a million times and I'll say it a million more. He ruined my life.

"I just thought maybe. Ya know." She said walking into the classroom.

"No, I don't know actually." I say following her to our seats. I flop down in my seat just as Ash walks in. His eyes connect with mine.

"Oh, hey Kara! I had a great time yesterday by the way." He says smirking at me he throws a wink my way too. A wink! What is he thinking??!

Everyone and I mean everyone looks at me. Even random people in the hallways stop and look at me. I can tell my face is so red right now.

"You lied to me!" Grace yells at me. "Okay so I was with him yesterday. But most definitely not in that way."

"You." I point at Ash "follow me or so help me." I say walking into the hallway as the bell rings.

"Kara, Ash get to class." My teacher yells at us. I ignore him and keep waking till there is no one.

"What the fuck is wrong with you? Are you serious, are you actually serious?" I'm sure my face is red with anger right now. "The last thing I want anyone to think is that I hooked up with you. Are you fucking serious I literally bawled my eyes out in front of you, because of you. And then you turn around and do this." I yell frustrated. I run my fingers through my hair and look at him expectantly.

"Well?"

"Sorry? I thought it'd be funny" he said obviously not sorry.

I look at him furiously "You thought it'd be funny?" He just shrugs. I turn to walk away but quickly turn back to him. "You know what." I say and sock him straight in the face.

"Mint chocolate chip or plain chocolate?" I ask myself aloud.

"Both." I set the tubs of ice cream in my basket and go to the register.

"Ice cream? Rough day or just craving ice cream?" The older lady asks me as she scans my items.

"Rough day." I say to her. "Well I'm not sure what happened but whatever it was don't let it get to you, keep your head high and show them what they're messing with." She said taking my money.

"Well thank you. I needed
that." I say taking my stuff and head out to my car.

well, i guess it's time to show him what he's messing with
