Chapter 11

Kara's pov

"Uhm, what are you doing here?" I cock my eyebrow.

"I wanted to go on that date, the one that you rudely declined." He said stepping into the house.

"I declined for a reason buddy, take a hint. Now get out." I open the door and gestured my hand towards outside.

"I'll only leave if you leave with me." He walks towards me. "I think I'll pass."

He starts charging towards me. I back up and out of the door. Next think I know I'm staring at his ass "Ash, what the hell?!" I shout. He closes the door behind him and walks towards his car. "You know if you put me in there I can just open the door." I say.

"I came prepared." He sets me down in the seat, he manages to not hit my head on anything, and take out a pair of handcuffs. Handcuffs! "Uh Ash? That's not necessary." I try to get out but he pushes me back down and cuffs my hand to the door.

Well, I wasn't expecting this.

"Can you please uncuff me?"
"No."
"Where'd you even get the handcuffs?"
"I know a guy."

I sigh and lean back looking out the window. I see a sign show up saying 'Pomodoro's Where the pizza is always fresh.' I honestly have never liked this place. And it's false advertising, it's not fresh. He parks the car and gets out. He opens the door with force that send me flying to the right of my seat, almost falling out. Not only that it hurt my wrist.

"Slow down there horsey." He says chuckling. I look up and glare at him. He takes the key and in hooks me from the door. "Alright now uncuff my hand." When I look at him I see a glimmer in his eyes, he's up to something. "Uhm, Ash?" He gives me a cheeky grin and puts the other cuff on his left hand.

"Close your mouth or you'll catch flies." He said and walked inside dragging me with him.

"So would you like spaghetti?" He asks me. "I don't like spaghetti." I tell him. He looks up at me "What?!" He looks very offended. "What else don't you like?" He asks "a lot of veggies, I hate mustard, I don-" "woah, you don't like mustard?" He asks "Goodness no, do you?" I ask him "No but everyone I've like, ever met loves mustard." He says "oh my gosh, I know what you mean. My parents love it and put it on everything, it's disgusting." I say making a gagging sound. He starts laughing at me.

"Can't you scoot over." I ask him "unless you want to be eating with your arm extended out i'm going to have to say no." He says. I groan as the waiter comes up, he's pretty hot might I add.

"My names Xavier and I'll be taking care of you tonight, can I start you off with a drink miss?" He asks me. "I'll have a water with lemon please." He writes it down

"For you?" He asks less... Peppy? "I'll have a coke."

"Alright your drinks will be right out." He says winking at me, I wink back. Aye, what can I say, I do like a guy who can pull off nice khaki pants. As soon as he's gone Ash starts running his mouth.

"I don't like him." He says glaring at him. "Why, because he's hot?" I say smirking. "Are you envious?" I ask him laughing. He just rolls his eyes.

"You totally want his charming good looks and his abilities to swoon any woman." I say. "Woah woah woah, slow down. I'm not envious because I already have charming good looks and let's be honest, I'm the real swooner over here."

I let out a single laugh "You wish." Xavier comes back with our drinks and sets them down, almost spilling the coke on Ash. "Whoops, are you all ready to order?" He asks "ye-"

"No, we'll be just a few more." Says ash. Xavier just nods and walks away.

"What was that for? I had already picked what I wanted." I say "Did you see that? He totally did that on purpose." He says looking around suspiciously.

"Stop being paranoid, he didn't do it deliberately." I take a sip out of my water "and beside if I were in his shoes I'd probably do the same, and actually succeed."

"Hey! Why would you do that?" He asks offended. I just simply raise our handcuffed hands and raise my brow.

"Oh"
"Yeah"

It's sort of weird that after everything I've been through with Him and his friends I'm still, somehow, able to have a normal conversation with him. He's not a completely terrible human inside and out, but he's still pretty shitty. If the whole bullying thing had not happened I might actually consider dating him.

Oh my God, did I just think that? I need to pull the plug right now. Stop it. He's a shitty human, no, not even that. He's an alien because he has no human emotions. He doesn't even think like a human, he has zero common sense... Zero.

"Are out guys ready now." Xavier comes from nowhere.

"Uh, yeah I'll have the.."
