Chapter 2 - Sparkle on the floor

LEO's POV

"It's alright." I opened my mouth to introduce myself and ask for her name, but then a voice invaded my thoughts.

"You're a celebrity now. We will not give you a dating ban, but please remember that even if you date, you can't be seen with them in public, because you are still idols. So please act rationally..." That is the voice of Jellyfish's CEO, informing us about the rules of being in the company. I scratched my head. What was I thinking? There is no time for me to be interested in dating.

Then I noticed a sparkle on the floor. I kneeled down to see what it is. It is a bracelet. I picked it up. There is a tiny snowflake dangling on the delicate chain. It must be hers, perhaps it fell when she spilled her drink on me. I smiled to myself, my mind flashing to how shocked and worried she looked.Wait. The bracelet! I have to return it. But where is she?

I bolted out the door, and surveyed my surroundings. I searched the crowd for her brown locks, panicking. What if I will never see her again? Then my eyes caught sight of a mess of brown hair, Bingo. I strode to where she was, and lightly tapped her shoulder.

"Who..." She spun around, her eyes confused, then she laid her eyes on me.

MIA's POV

Someone tapped me on my shoulder. Surprised, I spun around, "Who-"

It's him. The guy in the cafe.

"Can I help you?" I asked softly, ignoring the beating of my heart, my face heating up yet again.

"You left your bracelet in the shop, I thought I should return it to you." He held up his hand. Sure enough, dangling on his long fingers, was my bracelet.

"Ah..." My heart sank. I was disappointed, but why?

You know why. My subconscious told me. I waved those thoughts away. Enough of those teenage fantasies.

"Thank you for returning it to me...it really means a lot." I reached out and took my bracelet, feeling butterflies in my stomach when my fingers brushed his.

He scratched his head, and I looked at him, not sure what to say. Then, he extended his hand to me.

"By the way, I'm Jung Taek Woon. Nice to meet you." I smiled and took his hand. My small hand fitting into his hand snugly, warming my fingers instantly.

"And I am Mia Kim, n- nice to meet you too..."

LEO's POV

Mia...what a beautiful name. I could feel my heart speeding up. I gathered the courage to speak.

"So, what brings you to November?"

"Oh, the cafe? It was highly recommended among my friends, and I happened to have an audition in the area, so I stopped by."

"An audition?" I froze in my tracks. "Are you planning to be an idol?"

"Well...I'm not sure yet." She pursed her lips. "I like acting and dancing, and I have a hard time choosing between the two."

I smiled secretly to myself. This is going to be interesting.

"Which company did you audition in? Or am I not supposed to ask?" She said she auditioned in this area, and the only company nearby was...

"Jellyfish Entertainment. And it's okay, this information is not confidential or anything."

My jaw dropped to the ground.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

I decided to continue writing this book cause of the positive feedback I got:) It now had 1K reads and I never thought it go that far.(It wasn't a lot but it's still a big deal for me!)

And if any of you noticed, I changed the book title because "Love at first Sight" was too much of a cliche.

I am not very busy during this period of time so I may upload another chapter this week:)

But starting from next week I will upload 1 chapter per week, on Fridays!

There will be grammar and spelling mistakes, and I will edit them along the way, so please be patient~
