I feel my face heating up when I felt his eyes on me, I took a deep breath and looked up, staring straight into his eyes. His lips held a smile, which had my heart thumping like crazy. What is wrong with me? I hardly know the guy. His eyes...

MIA's POV
"To reward you all for your hard work, you are invited to join a vacation with our company next week. All members of our Jellyfish family will be present, as well as all of you trainees, and it will last for 5 days in Thailand, featuring a lot of games to bond us closer and to relax." The representative said, handing us a notice.
The whole room cheered. I smiled instantly. We haven't had a proper vacation since we started training and some of us are bored out of our minds.
"A vacation! I've been waiting for this." Minwoo said, giving me a high five. "I'm gonna get so drunk..." Joon said dreamily, and I slapped his arm lightly.
"I don't think we're allowed to drink, Joonie." I teased him with his nickname. He furrowed his eyebrows and pouted. "You know I hate that name." I just giggled.
After some time training, the company actually let us train with male trainees and I became really close to some of them. Joon is the comedian of the group, and the naughtiest of them all. His pranks always get him in trouble, but he is insanely talented as a dancing machine. And if Joon is the naughtiest, Minwoo is the most talented one. He is known for being well-rounded, both excellent at vocals and dancing. He is the opposite of Joon though, for the most part he's pretty quiet, but he is popular with female trainees for his good looks and his tall physique. I could tease him about the looks he'd get all day.
"Minji is looking at you again..." I smirked and poked his arm. He sighed and swatted my finger away. "So...the artists are also going to the trip, huh?" He said, taking a swig from his water bottle.
A certain someone flashed across my mind.
VIXX went on tour last month, so I haven't been able to see him at all for a whole month. I tried texting him a few times, but he hasn't responded to most of my texts. His responses were always short, and since then I've given up trying to text him.
Alright then. Hope you have fun on stage!:)
That's my last message and it has been a week. He never responded. Maybe he didn't even bother to read it. Who am I to him anyway? I scrolled silently through the messages. Perhaps he's even enjoying himself in some party... An image of him with another girl appeared in my head. I grimaced at the thought.
Maybe I shouldn't bother him anymore.
I got up and continued practicing, ignoring all the voices in my head.
-one week later-
"The artists are taking another flight so they will arrive half an hour late. We'll stay here in the lounge to wait for them. Sit down, have some rest, but don't leave on your own." One of the staff announced, directing us to the lounge.
I sat on a sofa and soon I felt my eyelids droop. Eventually, I dosed off.
Then I felt something shake me.
"Huh? What..." I looked around, rubbing my eyes. It was Minwoo. "We need to leave soon, sleepy. Our sunbaenims are here." My heart skipped a beat. He's here? I looked around nervously. Minwoo's hand reached out and smoothed my hair, distracting me from my panic.
"Your hair is a mess, Mia." He chucked, brushing it with his hands. I glared at him playfully. I reached and ruffled his hair, letting the strands stick out in different directions. "Hey!" He protested and I giggled, ruffling his hair some more. His hair is usually styled to perfection, so I giggled even more. In the corner of my eye, I saw a group of people emerge. Still distracted, I kept tackling Minwoo, playing with his hair.
"Guys! Your sunbaenims arrived!" The staff yelled, picking up their suitcases. Minwoo and I glanced at the entrance.
There he is. Standing tall in a grey T-shirt and jeans. Looking dashing as always. He also had a mask on, but his eyes were looking at my direction. I felt that familiar sensation in my heart again as it starts to race. I looked away. Who am I to him anyway? We're not even that close.
We stood up with the other trainees and greeted them. I kept my eyes on the floor the whole time.
"Hey, Mia." Minwoo tapped on my shoulder. "What?"
"Leo sunbaenim is looking at me weirdly." He whispered. My eyes shot at his direction. Sure enough, he is staring at Minwoo. But it wasn't just a glance. The intensity in his eyes makes it seem more like a glare than a gaze. His ebony orbs are directed at me again, my eyes met his. For a moment, all I could see was his eyes. That familiar sparkle I haven't seen for so long. Looking closer, it seemed like he had something to say. He almost looked...angry. He ran his fingers through his hair, something I noticed that he did very often when he is frustrated. Then he walked away abruptly, the air of annoyance still lingering behind him.
"Um, that was weird." Minwoo commented, glancing at me. I shrugged. Why is he upset? I'm not the one who disappeared for a month.
"I don't think he liked me very much." He said. I patted his back, picking up my bags.
"Don't worry about it. Let's go" We walked, following the group. Recalling what happened, I sighed. It was as if we were strangers once more.
