- 1 WEEK LATER -

MIA'S POV

I tapped on my phone as I rode the metro to Gangnam, where Jellyfish Entertainment is located.
Scrolling through my texts, my fingers landed on one of my contacts, Taekwoon Oppa.
We have been texting each other for a week, and I smiled as I read through our conversations.

Taekwoon Oppa: Mia, do you like pasta?
Me: of course:) Why did you ask?
Taekwoon Oppa: I am now making Rosé Pasta.
Me: Oohhh sounds delicious~ Please make some for me~
Taekwoon Oppa: ;)

My smile disappeared as I read through our latest texts.

Me: I am going to a new restaurant in town, do you wanna join me?
Taekwoon Oppa: I have some errands to run, maybe some other time.
-----
Me: Going back to my old college to pick up my stuff~ Can you come and help?
Taekwoon Oppa: I am meeting with friends right now, sorry.

I sighed. Usually, our texts were fun and I really enjoyed texting him, but whenever I suggest going out he would always have something to do. Is he actually busy or does he not want to see me? Am I going too fast? Am I pushing too hard? These questions keep spinning in my head and I sighed, frustrated, and turned off my phone.

I can't think about him right now. I need to focus on my evaluation today. I took a deep breath as I stepped off the metro, walking out into the cold winter air.

LEO'S POV

I frowned as I typed out my reply.
I can't come today, I'm sorry.
I groaned and buried my head on the table. It's not that I don't want to see Mia. I wanted to. So much. But I need some time before I decided to see her properly. I have responsibilities as a public figure and I'm having conflicts in between Jung Taekwoon and Leo, the singer.

Do I even like her as a friend or something more?

I'm sorry, Mia. I need some time.
I shook my head, deciding not to think about it any further. Standing up and pushing away my chair, I decided to go back to the company to get some practice done. Maybe doing some work will get my mind off of things.

-1 hour later-

I leaned against the mirror and looked at myself. I'm panting and sweaty, and my hair is a mess. I turned off the music and walked out the practice room. I sniffed my shirt, ugh, I reek.

As I walked around the corner, I see a familiar silhouette of a girl. I stopped in my tracks. Her slender figure and hazelnut locks are distinctly recognizable. Is that Mia?

Beside her is the CEO of the company. He patted her shoulder, smiling.
"Welcome to the Company. I hope you will enjoy working here." She smiled in return and answered,
"Thank you. I will promise to work hard." They said their greetings and the CEO walked away, leaving Mia in the hallway.

I peeked behind the corner, looking at her. She is still reading the acceptance letter with a huge smile on her face. I sighed.
I am such a coward. She is right there in front of you. What are you waiting for? My subconscious told me.

I took a deep breath and pulled out my phone. With shaky fingers, I pressed "call". A soft melody played in the hallway, she seemed surprised, and lifted her phone to her ears.

"Hello? Taekwoon Oppa?" Her sweet voice travelled through the hallway to my ears. I pressed my phone to my ears as well.
I stepped out of the shadow and into the light of the hallway. She recognised me instantly, her face morphing into an expression of surprise.
I walked to her slowly. Getting closer with every heartbeat. I finally stared into her eyes.

"Hello again, Mia."

AUTHOR'S NOTE
They finally meet again! *claps and squeals*
The next chapter will be more of a filler chapter but will help propel their relationship even further *wink wink*

Some may think that the pace of their relationship/the plot is a bit too slow, but that's my writing style. I prefer focusing on the details because I want my characters to be more dimensional and the plot to be more descriptive. I think it's good for the readers to understand the character's deepest thoughts and I want my readers to learn to know them better and eventually learn to love the characters as well:)
