Gingers story ***DISCONTINUED***

Chapter 4

Shadow was jumping up and down with glee as she did she shouted "yay another member and friend to help us to contain the darkness and keep away the light!!!" August made eye contact with Shadow making a "calm yourself!" sort of face and Shadow instantly calmed down and said "cool then Ginger you will be my apprentice ok?" "Ok!!!" Ginger said enthusiastically. They entered the woods and walked through a dark passageway filled with lots of thorns and bristled bushes. As they got deeper in to the woods there were tall stems with dead leaves on them and there were bright pink, lilac and red roses all around them. Ginger had thoughts flashing through his mind of what he had been through back at home and he recollected images from his mind from when he would adventure his garden and sit out there thinking all of the time. Ginger spent nearly all of his time in his garden and as he looked behind him all he could see was forest. They were very far away from his 'home'. The darkness felt very comforting to him as if he had something inside of him that felt at home there in the darkness of the deep woods. Just then, they came to a woven gate of roses that were pastel blue with black tips and pastel green stalks and some neatly placed twigs and sticks. There were two wolves outside the gates one of them had golden fur and green eyes whilst the other one had grey fur and brown eyes. They were guarding the front gate when August, Shadow and Ginger arrived. "Welcome back Lord August and head guard Shadow" the golden wolf said whilst bowing " I see you have a new recruit. How lovely!" said the other wolf bowing and signalling to Ginger whilst examining him thoroughly before letting him pass. "Yes we believe he is the saviour we were looking for" August said to the guards happily but in a lordly manner. "He has already agreed to help us! Haven't you Ginger!!!" Shadow exclaimed happily whilst trotting around Ginger. "Yes I have. I will help in any way I can!!!" Ginger said realising that he had gained his confidence back. "Good!" August said happily "let's go!" They all walked in to the land of darkness and Ginger couldn't wait for what would happen next...
