Chapter 10

Once Ginger had finished his drawing he hung it up in the wall and he went to bed as it was now night time and both Shadow and August had gone to bed and gone to sleep. That night was like no other. Ginger had awoken in the middle of the night to a loud crash. He jumped out of bed and looked up at his drawing which was a comparison of him when he was in reality and him with his magical powers and his wings that were pure white. He ran outside of his room and he sprinted down the hallway to the front entrance of the palace. Where he saw a group of white Pegasi (Pegasi are plural for Pegasus) standing regally at the doorway. "Who are you? And where do you come from?" Ginger shouted down the hallways getting in a defensive stance. The pegasi all stepped aside and a Pegasus with a golden crown stepped forwards in front of the other pegasi. "I am candy-floss the leader of the light. And I have come to vanquish this wretched place that August calls a kingdom!" The Pegasus with the crown said in a harsh tone. Just then Ginger's throne changed the wings that were once pure white had turned to pitch black wings with light blue tips on them and the cats eyes weren't amber and yellow they were pitch black with light blue spots. Then something happened to Ginger that would stay forever. Nothing was going to be the same again...
