Maura walked into the room, pulled back the curtain and opened the window. Then she spun around and looked straight at Niall.

"You've been in that bed for three days." she got up. "Please, get up and do something with your life. You can't just totally fall apart?"

Niall didn't answer. He turned her his back, pulled up the covers and stared straight into the wall. Maura took a breath and she wondered what she would do.

"The sun is shining and it's a beautiful weather out there?"

Niall didn't care. He was quiet and he was perfectly still. She sighed and she left the room. Yes, Niall was really devastated. He hadn't said a word since they came home and all he wanted to do was to sleep. He ate almost no food, and it was as if he had lost the desire to live. Maura guessed why, but she didn't dare to mention Harry's name.

She came into the kitchen and Bobby looked up from the newspaper. She shook her head and he seemed as sad as she was.

"Maybe we should...?" Bobby frowned and he pondered. Maura nodded a little bit.

"Harry must come over here. They have to solve this problem. Niall has given up."

Bobby cleared his throat a little. He nodded thoughtfully, and then he stood up. He adjusted his pants.

"Should I call?"

She smiled a little bit, and she nodded.

"And please. This isn't Harry's fault."

He nodded.

"I promise to be factual."

----

Niall counted the small marks left on the wall. Thirty-eight pieces. He looked down at the floor and saw dust as flew around in the corner. He sighed, and he pressed his head against the pillow. He regretted everything. He should have stayed and he should talk more with Harry, but just then, when he was so angry with Harry, he just wanted out of there. Now he wanted to return. But everything was ruined. He had left Harry and Harry had certainly moved on in life. Okay, there had only been three days, but still?

Harry's green eyes, yes, it was the only thing Niall saw when he closed his eyes. Harry's gorgeous face and his dark hair. Niall could almost feel the taste from Harry's lips and his hands that slipped around Nialls body. It was as if the missing for him made what had happened much stronger. Niall still remembered almost what he was thinking, when Harry ran down the stairs, with Niall in his arms and threw himself out the door. Niall didn't remembered no longer that it had hurt. He only saw the panic in Harry's eyes and the desire to save Niall. Damn, Niall repented what he had done. He lay on his back and he could almost see Harry's naked body in front of him. How he penetrated and how he smiled when he saw that Niall looked up at him. It was as if all the memories just spun around and all the moment as Niall remember was just the joy of belonging to that wonderful man.

----

Niall stood in the shower and he let the water run down his body. He needed to shape up, he needed to go on, but he stayed in the past. That wit the playroom wasn't that bad, when he thought about it. And actually it was quite romantic when Harry proposed to him? When Niall really thought about it, it was actually Niall who had done everything wrong. Harry had tried to please him, and Harry had really talked about what he wanted in life. All Niall had done was to back down, saying no, shirk and doubt. Niall was the idiot, not Harry.

---

It was day four. Niall pulled the blanket over his head and he was thinking about things that wouldn't happen this day. Harry wouldn't kiss him. Harry wouldn't say a single word to Niall. Harry wouldn't hug him and say that he loved him. Niall snarled. He really had put himself in trouble. This really wasn't that way as it should end. Four days? Harry had by now probably realized he wouldn't get Niall back, but Niall wanted to come back, but Niall didn't dare admit it, and he didn't dare to call Harry. It was as one big circle. Everything went around, everything ended up where Niall began.

The door opened and Maura came in. Niall didn't care. She pulled aside the curtain and she opened the window, as always, but this day was different. She said nothing. She stood for a moment and looked at him, then she left the room. Niall forced himself to think. She hadn't said a single word? Perhaps Nialls parents sensed that Niall was hopeless? Yes, maybe they understood that this was a hopeless case and without Harry, Niall was a zero?

Niall was peeping to the window. The sun was shining and the sky was blue. Niall swallowed. Life wasn't always sunshine and the sky wasn't always blue. He turned his head and he looked into the wall. Yes, he saw the blue wall in the room that had been his boyhood room. It was here as Niall had realized that he was gay. It was in this room as he had grown up and realized that life wasn't a bed of roses. He still remembered the first time and only time he had masturbated. He had happened to watch a video on the web and yes, it was on the wrong side on the web. That day was the day when Niall realized he had to leave Ireland. He had seen a porn movie with two naked guys and it had made him horny. He had masturbated, and afterwards he wasn't ashamed. No, he had understood. Life wasn't always as you wanted it to be, life constantly took new twists.
